In Q2 2023, the average recruitment salary of enterprises in 38 Chinese cities was ¥10,266 RMB ($1,430 USD) per month. This average is up 1.6% since Q1 2023, but still down around 0.7% compared to the same time period last year Q2 2022.

Breaking it down a bit further:

  • The 25th percentile of recruitment salaries is ¥6,001 RMB ($836 USD)/month,
  • The median is ¥8,001 RMB ($1,115 USD)/month,
  • The 75th percentile is ¥12,001 RMB ($1,672 USD)/month.

The average salary in China for 2024 is approximately 90,500 CNY per year, which translates to roughly 7,542 CNY per month or about $1,072 USD, according to Binance.​

Officially, China disclosed in 2023 that its government debt had exceeded 70 trillion yuan. As of November 2024, local government debt stood at 46.5 trillion yuan, with hidden debts reaching 14.3 trillion yuan. However, according to the International Monetary Fund, local government hidden debt could total as much as 60 trillion yuan by the end of 2023, equivalent to 47.6% of China's GDP.
 
Mexico City, June 4, 2025 – INEGI (National Institute of Statistics and Geography) published the latest automobile sales statistics in Mexico through the Administrative Registry of the Light Vehicle Automotive Industry (RAIAVL). These statistics show that 119,961 units were sold in May. This figure represents a 0.4% decrease compared to the 120,452 units sold in May 2024. Year-to-date, 593,284 vehicles have been sold, an increase of 0.9% compared to the same period last year.

Nissan leads May 2025 sales with 22,573 units, followed by General Motors with 15,604. Toyota takes third place with 10,974 units, Volkswagen falls to fourth place with 10,164 units, followed by KIA with 8,853, and Mazda, close behind, with 8,671 units sold.

MG Motor consolidates its position as the leading Chinese brand in the country, with 4,005 units sold in May. JAC follows with 1,950 units, while Changan reported 1,546 units sold. Finally, Great Wall Motor sold 1,096 vehicles in Mexico.

In the premium segment, BMW remains the leading brand with 1,640 units sold in May, followed by Audi, which climbs to second place with 734 vehicles, while Mercedes-Benz remains close behind with 730 units. Volvo closed the month with 575 sales.
