I haven't practiced law since I started preparing for the UPSC after my graduation, so I can't be of much help today. But who knows what the future holds?

That being said, regarding what Mr. Yusuf posted in DFI about legal compliances, there is no need to be concerned. The information was general in nature. He simply copy-pasted the IT Rules made under the IT Act, 2000.

As moderators, you need to be cautious of speech that incites violence against any community or individuals. Additionally, ensure you moderate posts that disparage the dignity of women, SC/STs, etc.

One more thing I wanted to add: you need to reach out to senior IP lawyers. Ameet Dutta, a partner at Saikrishna & Associates, tweets regularly and comes from a Fauji family. Another prominent lawyer who might be able to help is Mr. Percival Billimoria.

Influential members of the core DFB team should contact them. They might even assist pro bono. That being said, no reputable lawyer would want to be associated with teenage rage and the petty arguments that DFI unfortunately became known for. Therefore, try to keep this forum as civil as possible.
