Ambush and lootHow did they get these holos?
Thanks to ofb its reputation is ruined so it is better to work on completely new gun sss defence have m 72 in (5.56) , p 72 in (7.62x39 ) and drdo have ugram which have diff varients in( 5.56 x 45) and( 7.62x 39) and ( 7.62 x 51) [ note drdo dies have same gun chambered in diff name only 7.62 x 51 varient is called ugram but all of them are same gun diff caliber)Guys, Hypothetically if you are given a chance to improve the INSAS, what changes would you make?. Ideas galore.
And as we are talking about it lets talk about insas its worst problem was its magzine this wassolved but it was too late and ofb built quality was also reason which now isn't much of an issue and next big thing problem was its presentation what the fuck did they made that stupid orange furnitureThanks to ofb its reputation is ruined so it is better to work on completely new gun sss defence have m 72 in (5.56) , p 72 in (7.62x39 ) and drdo have ugram which have diff varients in( 5.56 x 45) and( 7.62x 39) and ( 7.62 x 51) [ note drdo dies have same gun chambered in diff name only 7.62 x 51 varient is called ugram but all of them are same gun diff caliber)
Any of this gun would have been good choice than AK 203 which is essentialy AK 103 with pictanry rails but import lobby and fact that we had to sacrifice indian guns for geo poltics

Bruhh... I know all that. It was just a hypothetical 'if' question. And not a real life military procurement question. Thanks to ofb its reputation is ruined so it is better to work on completely new gun sss defence have m 72 in (5.56) , p 72 in (7.62x39 ) and drdo have ugram which have diff varients in( 5.56 x 45) and( 7.62x 39) and ( 7.62 x 51) [ note drdo dies have same gun chambered in diff name only 7.62 x 51 varient is called ugram but all of them are same gun diff caliber)

Here is answer to your questionBruhh... I know all that. It was just a hypothetical 'if' question. And not a real life military procurement question.
A problem statement to brainstorm ideas that's it.
I believe better would be switching to ugram or m 72answer your original question i would first get it polymer furniture or even mlok handguard with pictanry rails and all modularity and polymer mag with no issues nato compatible and make it 16 inch barrel
I'd remove all those yellow parts. Use composites and milled parts to reduce the weight. Increase the mag size to 30 rounds. Get an ACOG or Holographic sight. It's accuracy is good but the muzzle break needs a redesign. I'd even the change sling points.Guys, Hypothetically if you are given a chance to improve the INSAS, what changes would you make?. Ok since you answered about INSAS, what would your Mk2 of JVPC look like @Ayan Barat ?
Yup , there was really no reason to go for a polymer handguard ... also the integral front sight blockView attachment 14896
PERIOD
MP7 is like the long lost cousin of JVPC; both gas operated rotating bolt, chambered in smol rifle rounds, feeding from the pistol grip, collapsing stock...so I just want JVPC to be refined like MP7; weight, size, handling
Lol @Noob and I had the same conversation regarding this!View attachment 14896

Mp7 and JVPC bruvThat girl!?
Ahhh yes...guns, it was there too in that picMp7 and JVPC bruv
...here's a comparison of MP7 and JVPC. See how much potential it has in terms of getting more compactNot really. It was made on an obsolete doctrine and even then, the implementation was very crude. It could have been much more slick.
Below is the comparison of approximate size of three similar platforms. Together with the weights and muzzle energies. Number in brackets are deviations.

You can see despite being either similar sized or even bigger, it doesn't offer much of any advantage.
