balakot 2.0
It's absurd for someone to say Balakot 2.0 bc 1.0 was a blatant failure. Planning an op simply isn't about taking out our intended targets but protecting our assets during the aftermath.

Post IAF's airstrike in Balakot, ISPR openly stated they'd respond and we as civilians know they'd respond but our side had zero preparation to counter. They sent a massive strike package of 24 jets, most of them being F-16s while we only had 8 fighters in CAP...many of them being Mig-21s

It doesn't matter if we shot their F-16 or they took down a Su-30 but the bottomline is many of their jets crossed into our airspace and dropped load next to our military installation while their AWACS was effectively jamming our fighters...and during this entire saga, idk what our AD and AWACS were doing but ended up taking one of our own helo in friendly fire

I'm pretty sure not much has changed ever since and we'd have to collectively agree PAF has far superior tactics & strategy over IAF.
Ji probably does not trust his airforce anymore after they messed up back in 2019. What other option does this leave? Missile attack? Surgical strike 2.0? Anything else?

This time action needs to be overt like uri and the govt should be fully prepared for info warfare ,we lost balakot as far as info warfare is concerned. Such an action should be launched that no one asks for proof .

Look at our Cricket team. Our guys used to be so meek in 80's

Ganguly ------ Dhoni ------- Kohli ---- now

Aussie ex-Captain Micheal Clarke was literally dick riding Rohit Sharma in a recent interview i.e the cockiest Aussies themselves are simping for us now.

Even IRL, you can see a noticeable shift in attitude among Hindus. Current generation and coming generation aren't insecure at all compared to our parents and grandparents.

We will cleanse this filth. We need to put a leash on Liberal HINO's first.
You need money/resources to act cocky and flex muscles - nobody takes a beggar seriously. The drop in terror attacks correlates very well with our PCI growth. The future netas would be more daring because they will have an even bigger economy.

Aussies are dickriding him because BCCI is filthy rich and dictates global cricket.

There will be no operation in Pakiland, our 3rd world sub-saharan milita led by Import khor UN Genrols can't do it, our Rafale Salesmen have proved their "mettle" in 2019.

What will happen is either the relevant 5-6 rats responsible will be roasted, or if the public rage is too much in the coming days and the responsible rats can't be found, some "innocent" thrashmiris will be smoked and shown as responsible.
That is what I mean maybe Modi and government knows that army is in no shape to fight.
Army waits for the morning to fight. Airforce is loosing it's edge in every department and they still want imports.
Armed forces themselves are their own biggest handicap. They themselves don't want to change.

If tomorrow Modi and government starts blaming armed forces for their corruption and imports you can see how fast they loose the next election. Armed forces are revered next to God, Bollywood has made sure of that. Nobody can criticise them for imports or corruption. Any criticism of them and you will be called anti national. Our own member was doxxed for calling out the armed force.

Now Tell me how should government respond.

I want nothing but pure revenge for killing our own but unfortunately it will never happen.
Our Hindu folks will happily buy stuff from Muslims next day and forget about this incident until the next one happens.

They did there were 7 of them.
Quite mind boggling how they had enough time to kill 30+ people and injure even more and finally make an escape and our security forces were just totally absent through all of this.
If youve been watching news related to J&K regularly, you might have figured out how administration works in J&K. Recently, JKP SP ops posts were abolished in some areas to relieve unwarranted stress on the manpower of JKP based upon the threat perception report, in a similiar manner, a few places have very less presence of JKP and sometimes a CAPF (also, army is not usually mandated for this task).
The place where these tourists were killed had like almost nil presence of police, maybe a sentry or two. Nearest Army presence is a HAWS camp, SOG in anantnag and the nearest CRT is almost 45 mins by foot.

Of course Balakot wasn't a failure. It kept major attacks at bay for 6 freaking years!

This can't go un-avenged. Post 2016 and 2019, GoI has defined the threshold for response and that threshold has been crossed by multiples and then some.

I strongly suspect this time we will see a prolonged response. Not a mere hit and retreat, but hit and stay. To what extent remains to be seen but this forum will see traffic reaching new heights in the coming days and weeks

No artillery strike because pak possess similar weapons, our airforce is not in good shape, pak has nuclear weapons. time to end this terror crap forever

Again, where is the endgame plan ? I just hear reactive statements (kill these, destroy those...).

Need stronger intel grid or a stronger anti infiltration force

Also poor reaction time of forces here, terrorists didn't do it on auto fire, singled out and killed approx 30

Folks are emotional. Let things calm down a bit before expecting rational responses. There are posts asking for chemical warfare, literally....
and again, what is wrong with that, explain that.
I asked for desi citizen to do chemical warfare. not gormint. explain what is wrong with that idea......
