Pahalgam Islamic Terror Attack

Guys This was a dastardly act. I fully believe and have faith that GOI and our armed forces will deal with Pakis one way or other. Pakis desperately are seeking banging to give opening to China. What I am concerned is the 5th column within which is rearing its head more brazenly be it Delhi riots, Murshidabad, Nagpur and now in Pehelgam. The long game being played to change dynamics of xountry from within is moving apace without any so far resistance from countrymen or people in power makes hope for country dimmer.

Yes, I live in the US in a very peaceful part of the country.

The cost of gun(s) ownership, background check and licensing (annual fee), ammo, practice at a gun range etc... adds up. I did not see a point if I am not going to be using the gun in real life in the US. The dangers of getting killed in the US are way over-exaggerated. 20,000 homicides a year, of which half are black-on-black. A lot of others are South American gangs, family dispute related, drug related etc... If you avoid the worst areas of some big cities at night-time, you are probably safer than in 16% Muslim India.

But I am considering a change of mind this year...at least insofar as going to my local gun range a few times for practice.
 
Today is the day I realized that there is a limit on how much anger and hate my brain can comprehend.
I dunno why though . I am old enough to remember 26/11 pulwama uri etc and even those did not effect me this much. Perhaps there has been a change in my thinking since then.
In any case, my long term life goals have changed drastically.

Same for some weird reason.

Never been more triggered in life and I've never wanted the end of a particular community more than today.
 
i personally feel so dumb and numb, perhaps pre-2020-era version of me would've gone ballistic mad and enraged, but current me has seen-heard-faced so much on political, geopolitical, social et al sides that i couldn't muster my reaction much, at maximum i just got a cigarette and smoked it away this evening

is this growing apathy or hopelessness-carelessness, i don't know
