Patrakar has provided chronology of these rifles including AHHH IM IMPOOORTING and domestic production

The first batch of 70,000 AK-203 rifles was reportedly delivered to the Indian Army on January 25, 2022, though the date has not been officially confirmed. Licensed production of the rifles officially commenced in January 2023. Between May and July 2024, another batch of 35,000 rifles was delivered, marking a significant step in the indigenous manufacturing and supply of these advanced assault rifles to the Indian armed forces.
The Indian Army is set to receive 70,000 AK-203 assault rifles in 2025, followed by an additional one lakh units in 2026 under an arms deal with Russia, according to defence sources.

Need to pump up those numbers

M777 is not made by BAE-UK.
BAE-UK was the one to come up with, you don't have the industrial base in UK to support these kinds of large scale defence production. Just a third of parts are made in BAE-UK, shipped to BAE-USA, rest of the parts are made and everything is assembled.

If Stryker is made in Canada, then how many Stryker are in service with the Canadian armed forces?
LAV-III is manufactured in Canada and Stryker is in USA. If we were buying LAV-III then there would have been no need to involve USA, but we're not.

NSM is a purely Norwegian design, so much so that even USA has to buy it for testing. Don't get so caught in things like "sabka malik ek/Soros/deep state" that you start missing factuality.

You're countering my point and then reinforcing the exact thing that I said

This was my whole point, that despite being a 200 years old institution people nowadays think "I even doubt current employee can even design a good enough mechanism or design...".
Which means there's something fundamentally wrong going on other than just capital.
you are right about BAE-US it’s completely different from BAE-UK

But strikers are built in London ON, comms and other RF testing done in Alberta at GD.

Remember the Saudi Arabia deal ?
The company, known by its acronym GDLS, is the manufacturer of the LAV III armoured vehicle Canada used in Afghanistan. It also makes similar Stryker armoured vehicles for the United States and bid with a larger, heavier model in the recently cancelled Canadian procurement of heavy armoured personnel carriers that would have been worth $2 billion for 108 vehicles, plus training and maintenance.

That’s why wion was bitching about striker

GD is quite invested in Canada more then other defence contractors

Nothing can be done without US blessing when it comes to Canada.

Stryker infantry vehicle deal with U.S. progresses; Javelin missile to be demonstrated again

Stryker, manufactured by General Dynamics, has been evaluated in high altitude conditions of Ladakh last September-October and the report has subsequently been shared with the Army Headquarters for further action, according to the sources. The performance of the vehicles was demonstrated in high altitude conditions between 13,000 and 18,000 feet which also saw the testing of the Javelin Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM), two sources said. And given some shortcomings, last month a communication was sent and re-trials are now awaited anytime, the sources stated.
The Stryker with its double-V hull performed optimally, one of the sources said, adding that the Javelin’s performance was not at the optimum level, which was due to the vintage of the system that was sent and repeat trials are expected to validate that. India has already sent a communication to the U.S. side asking for repeat demonstration of the Javelin, another source said, and the schedule is being worked out.
The Indian Army has identified a key requirement for ATGMs mounted on infantry combat vehicles, several defence officials stated. However, the Stryker variant with the Javelin ATGM is under development and is expected to be demonstrated to India in the near future, it has been learnt.

The envisaged plan, according to sources, is the procurement of few hundred vehicles in two stages. Direct import of small number of Strykers in the first stage and license manufacture of a bulk of them, with some customisations, in India likely by defence public sector undertaking Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).

As per this video Morocco placed their order for Apaches 4 months after we did. The GE F-404 TF was also similarly delayed. At this point it's quite clear the Biden administration was playing dirty.

Modi's due in Washington to meet Trump next week. Hopefully these issues are thrashed out & supplies resume pronto .

Well check the Taiwan deal they are more desperate for US weapons but Morocco orders are being filled even though Taiwan weapons were ordered much earlier.

Morocco is paying premium right now. Hence their orders are taking priority.

Sadly that’s the situation.

It's deliberately being pushed despite being pathetic and performing poor in trails

This is how strong lobbying looks like

Kill whAp, and bulk buy 2000 of obsolete shit that even America itself is replacing.

Pic related, the poor Mahindra WhAp wasn't even given a chance
