DRDO and PSUs

We are not using new r73 missiles....
Also it's not so effective, still can shoot uavs
Yesterday there was an epic naval battle. The epic is that a state that has almost no fleet chased the Russian military fleet in the waters of Novorossiysk. About 30 Ukrainian naval drones of various types (sea minelayers, torpedo bombers, kamikaze, FPV carriers, anti-aircraft) "walked" near the port of Novorossiysk and protected aerial drones from the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Therefore, not a single Russian military ship risked leaving the bay. The repulse of the Ukrainian attack was entrusted to Russian naval aviation. As a result, the port is burning, the Russian fighter is shot down.

R 73 (samar) is still a deadly missile if used right and we have them in big numbers
If r 73 can shoot down su 30 then it can easily manage to shoot down porki aircraft too

Does anybody know the status of Drdo ALTAS towed sonar.

I have confirmation from the guy from Atlas elektronik that another batch of ACTAS is under consideration and Talwar frigates are also being fitted with these if not already. Just don't ask how I got to talk to him. And with the number of major ships we have, it won't be wrong to say that ACTAS is the defacto towed sonar for IN. Performance of ACTAS in Indian waters was also found to be particularly good.

This leaves me to think that indigenous towed sonar project ha somewhat become a failure as it failed to achieve production.
