This and the current GE engine drama should make all the DPSUs have atleast 3 different vendors/engines for their prototypes and start a domestic engine development prototype matching the specs they need in parallel



pic relateds also pulled the same scam for LT Zorawar but thankfully that was in early development so they got an engine from Cummins which is an American company

Is this flying wing design good for air to air warfare?

I understand that they can fit some Astras inside this to do BVR air-to-air but I was asking in the normal "ASRAAM" type missile sense

not at all, especially given the TWR. But it is amazing for radar stealth, so using it for A2G drones makes perfect sense.
