Akash has pesa radar would that be a problem in ajerbeijani theatre ? I dont think ajerbeijan posses significant sead capabilities in that ESM & most important ECMs. I suppose akash's ECCM should stand against ajerbeijan but then israel is very keen to help them. I have heard Israeli officers played important role in previous conflict. And they also have alot of tech support from them.

What's the point of a non-stealthy TEDBF in this day and age?

If we're gonna have a twin-F414 base, better with IWB, then the AMCA would make a better baseline. Not talking about converting an air force design Jet but use the stealth pattern!

It's completely possible to have a canarded stealth jets. Effects of same-plane canards are no different from tailplanes. Even LM worked on it. This beauty is from a lecture, presence of the canards before or after the main wing didn't matter much.

I'm completely on the same page here with you, about tedbf being redesigned as a stealth jet.
Navy also mentioned in a presentation it's seeking 5th gen future fighters.
But whether tedbf will be resigned or even if projected will move forward(yes ccs is not given yet) is uncertain.

Tho there are few reasons/scenerios where tedbf could probably remain non stealth designs.

1, tedbf will control stealth loyal wingmans which will somewhat level the playing field for it against stealth jet, but only "somewhat".
2, by that time few squads of amca can be deployed on andmar and nicobar command and tedbf will compliment them.

About that.
1, Yes EW can affect it, will need high end EW planes/drones in the air.
Don't know if ajerbeijan is capable of that, but it has used some level of EW in Nagoro-Karabagh conflict.

Tho israel can definitely help.



2, Meteor missile also has pesa seeker.

He won't, he is only interested in bijiness like any true blue gujrati (no offense), defence seems to have least priority apart from allowing exports and helping pvt defence guys make money (again bijiness). No interest in reforming and destroying chandigard lobby, nor import mafia

Prahaar, Pragati, Pranaash was tested during 2010-2011 period. But never moved next stage since IA do not have the idea of Rocket force at that time. Once Chinaman come with Rocket force and current Russian-UKR war. We are going for it.

The missile got upgraded to Pralay. For the Pranash, we may go with near ATACAMS spec with Pinaka launcher.
