PLI needs to be augmented by investment arms from PSU and private banks, who either invest or give out cheap loans for capex for companies that build up factories with >3 lakh sq ft of manufacturing space

Chalo looks like we're going big in the laptop/PC/server manufacturing space, Inventec is one of the Big 4 in the manufacturing of the aforementioned items apart from Compal, Wistron and Quanta, all of which are Taiwanese btw, as in they get contracts from the big brands like HP, Dell, Lenovo etc.

Can we buy such machines from ASML etc, yes, there are fabs coming up but this will be lower tech, 2nd hand gear, we aren't fabbing the high tech 3nm chips to start afaik

We are buying DUV machines. Not necessarily resale DUV machines. But looking at how aggressive Japanese Lithography makers Canon and Nikon are, we are more likely to buy them rather than ASML initially. DUV ASML machines are damn good. Even the resale ones are gobbled up by other fabs when they put them up for sale.
