The beauty of being Paxtan is not only are you perennially in a phucked up state but you also end up phucking those helping you.

Consider this situation. Paxtani power plants built with loans from China under their CPEC initiative have extortionate tariffs basically to meet their debt obligations to China which comes with an equally extortionate rate of interest.

So , utlization is dropping but debt burdens of Paxtan is increasing. In the meanwhile people have to eat meaning they need electricity to run their offices homes industries etc which means those who can afford it will seek substitutes to conventional means of receiving electricity by going the renewable energy way which in this case means solar.

Where do they get solar panels from ? But of course China - the world's leading mfg of solar panels. Plus China has an FTA with Paxtan .

Bottom line - Paxtan's losing money in customs receipts for imports of these panels while further sinking those power plants revenues , with the debt rapidly piling up & China ensuring Paxtan remains indebted by selling them solar panels & screwing up their own receivables on what they're owed by Paxtan.
