NEW DELHI: I am an innocent man who has been framed,' says Nikhil Gupta, who is in a US prison, in the first ever interview to a media outlet. He also claims that the case was meant to affect elections in India.

I don’t know why the current incumbent is tolerating/silent on American diktats. No amount of TOT (not that there is any significant one)is worth this daylight attack/regime change/such shameless interference in our domestic political matters.
that subnational diplomacy is now bearing fruits which we all feared. Americans meeting Indian oppositions &influencer etc in broad daylight.
Close 2-3 American consulate in India since they are nothing but staging ground for interference in India.

They already were claming RAAW involvement from start. But it elicited no response from GoI. Above report is also for building emotional pressure for GoI to say something which can be pinned to it. No doubt mr Gupta has been framed for geopolitical reasons.

I for one think obviously as concerned citizen and not informed one india should go Canada way in relations to US, burn the bridges it’s not worth it honestly . Corruption , mediocrity, inefficiency of Indian state aside we don’t have capacity to tackle on such scale either. Keep west away.
keep engaging their companies (in partnership)and favourable people. throw away all big tech companies.

Yeah If he is an Indian Citizen. But could be used is that for bargaining is US special ops guy caught in NE(saw a picture on twitter sometime back) aiding Kukis and use it for counter mud slinging.

I wonder about that as I said don’t have confidence in Indian institutions neither they have capacity not capability on the other hand US is such well oiled machinary .its like 40 kg man competing 4 time champion 100 kg opponent. It’s not worth it.
Downgrade this diplomatic gimmicks ,decrease the US presence in India (counselate) as they are showing their hostile intention quite openly.

I also want to add one thing without solid consolidated/unity political class /leadership we will not have same deal as PRC instead these regime change operations from thousand of Indian groups/brown sepoys/traitors etc etc
