One of the primary reasons for the Gulf Sheikhdoms failure to achieve their objectives in Yemen were that both KSA & the UAE ended up backing opposite sides in the 3 way conflict involving the Houthis who fought each other as much as they fought the Houthis.

Result - one fine day the UAE got up & exited the war followed by KSA for by that time thanks to the infighting between the opposition the Houthis gained the upper hand & are now the dominant faction there thus leaving KSA with no option but to sue for peace with them & their sponsor Iran .

Like our truce on the LAC it's another temporary measure.

It is strange when Yuvraj MBS of Saudi was blasting the Houthias many years ago in the civil war, it was the usual HUMAN RAITES VIOLATION WIMMEN CHILDREN BEING KILLED, they did all this drama and Saudiya and UAE cucked out of the fight and did ceasefire.

Now no human rights violations are happening? No civilian casualties?
