It's cool and has been so stealthy that no on has ever managed to see one for a long time...cool aircraft, very nice picture too
Any updates about the spin trials after the modification of the tail section.
This is probably the longest development of any IJT in the world I guess!!

Indian aircraft have usually a nice looking design, like France or Brazil, they make economical aircraft with very sleek lines.
It's due for certification this financial year. I guess you'd hear more about it once the certification is imminent or awarded.no more news about it?
thanks I really like that aircraft, by the way my son has some friends from India regardsIt's due for certification this financial year. I guess you'd hear more about it once the certification is imminent or awarded.
This current incompetent defence minister has ruined all the work done by Late Parrikarji, be it for Tejas , HTT40, IJT,LUH, etc.I love how HVT Sir keeps flying and mentioning this bird, but will this ever become a finished product?

See , this is our biggest failing as a civilization, we rely too much on individual figures instead of building institutions, so that the individual shouldn't matter but rather the institution carries on the work even if a particularly bright individual passes on.This current incompetent defence minister has ruined all the work done by Late Parrikarji, be it for Tejas , HTT40, IJT,LUH, etc.
Im sure if Parrikarji was among us today, we would see all these aircrafts already inducted in the IAF, alongside Tejas mk2 prototype flying.

Some times I wish we can put that Alphadefense guy as a defense minister.I saw one interview by late Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw. He talked about his experience when he deals with People in MOD. At that time Defense Minister don't even know about Artillery and they need to explain everything.
The point is Manohar Parrikar is an rare bread. He may be not from Defense background. But he was clear about lot of things and pointed out the games of Armed forces Procurement bakchodi. Unfortunately, God have other plans.
On the other hand Rajnath Singh may be a good politician but he is not a good defense minister. He never lead the Ministry but rather ride along with the MOD Babus and Army folks.
We are still searching for good Defense Minister.
I find it curious the IJT - Sitara hasn't yet been certified FOC by the IAF nor received due certification from CEMILAC yet apparently HAL is proceeding with mfg the AL-55I TF used to power the IJT .
I thought HAL would have concentrated on HFTE 25 if anything, that would have nicely gelled with stretchable timeline of HAL IJT.I find it curious the IJT - Sitara hasn't yet been certified FOC by the IAF nor received due certification from CEMILAC yet apparently HAL is proceeding with mfg the AL-55I TF used to power the IJT .
Then of course this is IDRW we're talking about.
