If India had been making deals with China, he won't be saying it It's a copium they try to portray as an achievement.
They equate a mutually beneficial business deal with the slavery ignoring all the benefits India is getting.
They don't know that Indian economy is far more open & will be more inclusive with time. Their govt restrictions, communist rule of law aren't sustainable in the long run. End of the day it's all about the trade. Reducing dependency from China is in everyone's interest. They can gaslight but they've to talk with each other among the limited mass. Nobody cares.
