this is a bit misleading, must be written by some journo who knows not much about firearms;

the so called ww2 era pistols here are Inglis Hi-Power Pistols, the very same 9mm Pistols that we use here as standard issue in Indian Armed Forces called Pistol Auto 9mm 1A, and those if preserved in good conditions are perfectly fine pistols to use, not that modern but good enough even this days
