Worst of all,we have the likes of BITS Pilani, Jadavpur University,IIT Varanasi, University of Mumbai and JNU ranked lower than the little-known Shoolini University.

didnt notice that bc, roorkee is the only iit or premier college in india to have seismology and geology departments working hard and then their architecture and civil department is reputed

but the thing is this qs bs ranking is useless. real ranking for india in engineering should be -
counting infra and research culture as well as placements

FTAs can be renegotiated.

For a while our shameless dhandhos used to import FBU Air conditioners from Thailand, because of the FTA signed with them during congress times.

Some Govt screw-turning later ACs were here, but compressors still imported.

After some PLI carrots compressor manufacturing came to India.


India is a large consumer nation for certain ASEAN countries, we send large amount of tourists to Thighland, we import large amounts of palm oil( used by dhandhos and street food vendors mainly ) from Indogesia & Malaysia.

We too have leverage.

I wonder if a spokesman like Goyal will extend this criticism to European countries. India can even be indirect by stating that it chooses to ally with or converge with, the US based on the issue. India doesn't just mindlessly agree with the US out of some compulsion or obligation. Also, India faces threats on both its borders, unlike Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway or Germany, who face( presently) a vague, uncertain threat from Russia, if threat at all. Even at the height of the cold war, none of these countries were threatened directly on their borders, with the exception of Germany( East Germany). India during those years was never the B, C, D or E team of Russia, it was basically playing a balancing act for its own economic development and security.

A statement to this effect would be pretty strong.

Adani’s Kutch Copper plant begins processing ores amid global shortage​

The plant in Gujarat began processing mined ores despite previous delays caused by a global shortage of feedstock.

According to the report, raw materials are currently being fed into the plant, although it is anticipated that it could take up to 18 months to reach full operational capacity, significantly longer than the typical two-to-three-month ramp-up period.

Having High numbers means higher dumbing down of population. It also Tells that we dont have much avenues for younger population to spend their extra energy in creative fields or even physical activities. Not good for population in long run. Healthy habits need to be inoculated. Worst are schools where teachers are only sharing homework and kids activities on WhatsApp or some online platform - thereby making kids addict early on.

hehe...yeah mene ishe negative way me hi post kiya hai, na ki positive roop me. mai bhi 6-8 hour mobile or lappi use kr leta hu. fortunately 12th tak mobile nd lappi use nhi kiya...vrna to ajkal ke chote baccho (7-12+ year) ke jese chasma nd motapa chaad chuka hota.

hehe...yeah mene ishe negative way me hi post kiya hai, na ki positive roop me. mai bhi 6-8 hour mobile or lappi use kr leta hu. fortunately 12th tak mobile nd lappi use nhi kiya...vrna to ajkal ke chote baccho (7-12+ year) ke jese chasma nd motapa chaad chuka hota.

Well, I have been staring at the screen for atleast 14 hours daily since last 10 years. No problem with eyes . I just ensure screen brightness is less than ambient light. Never use screen in darkness. Also good diet. Milk and dahi daily. All will be well.
