"Signaltron has built the entire system indigenously using India's first chips for 4G and 5G networks developed by Signalchip. This is the first time an Indian system running on an Indian chip for complex communication technology has been inducted into the army. Using indigenous chips gives a high degree of control on the security of the system in its operation," Khasnis said.
 
Good to see private defence sector development in the area of ceramics.

Some points from the video.

1) cumi have their own supply of raw materials from their Kerala division.

2) raw materials include alumina, RBSN and ZTA.

3) They also manufacture Rubberised armour with ceramic sandwiched in between.

4) now they are working on the area of TBC.

Ministry Of Defence Sets Up UAV, Electronic Warfare Testing Centers In Tamil Nadu.
The Union ministry of defence (MoD) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish three testing facilities in the state, under the Tamil Nadu defence industrial corridor. One testing facility will be established each in Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), Electronic Warfare (EW) and Electro Optics (EO) domains.

Nice! Are the chips made in India, say by SCL? Or designed, but fabricated elsewhere.
