SHAKTI addresses this with its 25kg warhead and 4-hour endurance, delivering explosive payloads up to 1000km away. Designed as an expendable yet lethal system, SHAKTI includes a wideangle camera for target confirmation, ensuring accurate strikes with minimal collateral damage. This UAV is ideal for deep strike missions and high-value target elimination, offering an edge in both offensive and defensive operations..

The ABHAY MRC UAV, with its Multirole Capability, offers a solution by performing combat operations like MUM-T and swarm attacks. With advanced features like BLOS communication, anti-jamming GPS, and enhanced speed, it can carry swappable combat payloads, including EW systems and munitions. The Tri-services have shown keen interest in this high-speed UAV, now in the proof-of-concept stage. A discussion on how China's not just stolen a march on India but has galloped ahead in the wake of the new generation stealth fighters China's showcased & the role of the Pvt Sector in helping us bridge this gap.

Pretty scathing comments from Air Marshal Choudhary on the sheer neglect of air power as a subject within both the country & the security establishment with Lt Gen P. Ravishankar taking a dig at the Pvt Sector for not investing in R&D hoping to take short cuts thru technology transfers from either DRDO or foreign partners & J. D . Patil of L&T chipping in with his comments hosted by Sandeep Unnithan .

Talking about Air power. Tejas MK1 achieved an FOC on Dec 2013. Even in 2011 Tejas IOC got cleared. If we went with IOC MK1 purchase when GE have its F404 production running. From 2017 we may get an initial 8 fighters.

2017 - 8
2018- 8
2019 -16
2020- 1 (COVID)
2021- 1or2 (COVID)
2022 - 8
2023 - 16
2024 - 16

Approx we may have 66 Tejas Mk1 rather than waiting for MK1A.

Even Pakis start with Barebone JF17 Block 1 to upcoming Block 3. Now they will either upgrade MK1 or scrap them. At the end of Day Pakis had an jet to fly rather than us which is flying in CGI.

The Tejas MK1 scenario is hypothetical but the fact is Tejas MK1 should be in our Squadron.

Genrols blaming everyone else for the consequences of their actions.

The mustachioed retired Artillery Genrol blaming "private sector" when Kalyani has like 4-5 towed Artillery models including ATAGS and 2x self propelled ones is just icing on the cake.

Also private sector won't invest in R&D unless they get guaranteed orders and funding. Yankee MIC corporations get shittons of subsidies and guarantees for their R&D.

Baba Kalyani is a literal one man army at this point. Despite getting neither, he keeps punching on.

Air Parcels are probably dirtiest among all. Govt should just stick 75-80kN kaveri on LCA and ask these "muh 90kN thrust" retired muppets to use their exfart to generate extra 10kN thrust when they had to do a 9G circus maneuver in the era of BVR.

Arty Genrol never wanted any of these when he was serving, and i'm sure his serving successor is the same

GoI needs to raise some "Marine" or IRGC style fourth wheel armed forces exclusively to use deshi maal.
There is like a factory that produces one phoren-maal addicted genrol after another, with the retirees continuing to besmirch anything domestic made.

It's as if only local agents of Elbit, Rafael, Dassault, GLDS, Rosboronexport get the big promotions
