Indian Special Forces

Just saw an Army MMG's barrel fly-off while the soldiers were firing the weapon. The neat part is that the army was showing off its latest weaponry to the media. LMAO.
We are screwed.

that's not the result you expect from them if they are doing this for decades. new chain of command, new attitude, clearly better modernisation pace . give CRPF proper training and time they will do better .
they are sons of same soil just different organisation.

CRPF is already active in CI/CT with their QRT and normal troops I don’t think it will change much

That’s not mmg’s fault the barrel is replaceable when it gets too hot so they didn’t lock it good enough lucky nothing major happened there but it is funny
Also one thing I don’t get is they get helmets in every camo except the camo of their uniform like do they choose it via inky pinky ponky?

I don't know the reason for the barrel flying-off, but it is not professional, specially when you are putting up a show infront of the media.
About the camo - I understand that they use the cloth that is available, the new camo is not available widespread, the army wants improvements as well. moreover, the OFB has large stocks of old camo which they can't discard.. so it has to used somewhere.

Yes the barrel is replaceable.
