Idk but this is too much as if someone is bent on proving the dog as a combat multiplier.
This gunda pakado ops demo also should stop, if there has to be a demo. Tell them to come around sitting in a car and be away. Pata nahi what's the obsession of all Indian SFs for such lame demos and the audience claps to it.

US and NATO has moved onto fused thermals with NVGs like ENVG B. Meanwhile we're buying PVS 31s for SF which is the std issue in marine corps/infantry.

Simple Economics.

Yea but how much we pay in pensions and salaries as compared to our GDP and Then offer Additional benefits as well.

A major portion goes into this and with the 8th pay comission its not gonna help.

Secondly,Chile is not a IT and Manufacturing hub compared to us..why havent we produced even basic tech products?

Lastly,how many years combat has Chilean Army seen.

When you analyse all this together you will realise we are very very incompetent Or Are we not and just giving the illusion we are incompetent when we are something else?

Thermals have small eye relief dont they?…How can you see from a thermal without a magnifier?

Simple Economics.

Random rich country having a proper trained and equipped SF because of their ample wealth is no excuse for us not having one inspite of facing various threats.

We have a necessity while they may do it out of luxury.

Russia is an economy smaller than Kaneda yet they have had a 6% defense budget for the past 2 decades and I'm sure a portion goes to keep their SF atleast well equipped.

In Shaheed DFI's Gucci Gang SF thread there was one picture of some tiny island country called East Timor where even their SF seemed well equipped as compared to our guys where only having a Tavor marks them as "Speshul" as compared to the rest of the forces.

It's not that hard to make demonstrations that actually depict your skill and capabilities.
Use actual hepters to do heliborne drops, use Sims or blanks . Keep it close to reality .And don't do whatever the fuck this is
