During GWOT the USAF found out that the militants were able to hack into the video feeds of Predetor drones as it was not well encrypted thus when they found they were being observed they bailed out due to which many ops went sideways . What did they do ?
they accepted the issue and fucking fixed it .

Also why do we find such thing impossible , we are flying foreign outdated drones , China has vast network to pull sensitive info and the expertise to exploit them . They are one of the best when it comes to EW .

On the matter of CQB

Here is how PARA usually approaches it going by PR images. All guns trained, stacked, not concerned with high/low ready. Risks flagging during high adrenaline situations. So for risk mitigation, formation moves slow. This is similar to how American SWAT used to handle entries, before they started cross training with FBI HRT.



And here's MARCOS approaching it. Both high/low ready, spacing, and faith in the point men. Sleek and fast in and out.




On to the gun I hate so much, the TAR-21.



Despite it's compact profile, the old gen TAR-21/STAR/GTAR/SAR rifles are all rear biased with just enough front handguard to work with. Slipping this rifle in and out of your shoulder to go high ready is a pain in the arse, so often if you see a TAR-21 in high ready, it's either held with just one hand or the support hand has to rest on the trigger guard. It's difficult to maneuver this gun in and out of your shoulders without a forward grip, or tilting the rifle parade style. So you mostly see this thing carried in low-ready during ops.


In comes X-95 used by MARCOS. Still a rear heavy gun, but now the pistol grip and trigger pack is pushed further back of the frame, providing a better weight distribution and more acres of handguard space.



The consequence is, now the gun is in a tier above the TAR-21 in terms of CQB suitability even without a forward grip.



Because of it's inherent rear heavy bullpup nature, it's still not ideal for high-ready transitions, and professionals can rightfully argue that going into smooth low-ready is enough, which the X-95 can do very well, even down to quicker mag changes because of the improved ergonomics. But one thing is for sure, rifles without good hand-guard space are suboptimal for CQB tactics.

If u only focus on results then u will see failures frequently along with successes
But if u want holistic development of an institution and it's excellence in every situation then focusing on results is myopic
Yes u will face failure but you will have better control and understanding of it

Better training, tactics, better gear, even have night vision, better planning etc.

We are now dealing with a highly capable, trained and coordinated groups who infiltrate.

Army so far hasnt upper their game.

I dont know the exact context but recreation is a part of any job or people wont work there.

Activities like horse riding,golf,shooting,mountaineering etc makes the job attractive bcoz everyone is not in the Army to be Para commando.

Cant find that post exactly but that was him stating that the brass will spend heaviliy on their kids to get them to all these sports and post it as if that's somehow attracting the youth as if it has anything to do with the army

I dont know about that bro bcoz i am a fauji kid myself and i didnt get any sort of favour from the Army for anything.

Most of my schooling was in Army schools bcoz my dad couldnt afford expensive convent schools and that would be the story of most 80s and 90s kids.

Even to buy a land was difficult for him despite being a very senior level officer.

Having said that 100% people are not perfect in any institution and there can be bad apples and i dont know if this is that case.

But again the thing will come on Abingdon bcoz he posted that pic with a narrative and the other side will say we did the same..so which side is right?

Bhai meine 4 saal real estate me job ki bangalore me…and then also took a loan at heavy price.

If someone accused my dad i would be really pissed.

My fauji friends still think 2 times when ordering food at a expensive bar i take them.

Everyone is not the same and every money the Army has cannot be spent on Para Commando.

There is more to Army than SF…I even believe the Army can easily win against Pakistan witthout Para SF…there are other branches too.

We also feel bad when operators get matyred..it angers me..i am also not perfect i agree but i want the best for soldiers and have no other agenda.

Baki Army me sab gareeb nhi hote humari terah kuch log khandani ameer bhi hote he..there are officers who buy 10 lakh bikes as a Lieutenant.

One needs to be really careful and specially not drag female civilians into this!
