Since Jammu is the hotbed of terror it wont be bad to make a NSG base there and give them some specialised vehicles.

I would even suggest to modify a BMP for Urban assault role if jumping in farms is your choice.

Mind you it was an infantry battalion which stormed sopore in 92 and wiped out hizbuls most wanted commander, and it was assam rifles who would literally wipe out groups of militants in 90-91. Mind u the most successful CI OP released to the public to this day was by Assam rifles

I dont know this mountain rat guy but Indian Army Armoured columns can pierce Pakistan like a hot knife in butter.

Pakistan is so small…When we fly over it we used to joke in the cockpit..Le ab ghuse aur ab khatam…UP se bhi patla he.

But yeah we will pay a heavy price but i think the job can be done by armoured corps with a good support from the Queen ie Infantry.

It's a mix of T90s and T72s primarily.

However, any ground war probably will NOT begin until the air war has finished, which will come after the missile-equipped forces have finished obliterating the Pakistani logistics chain(atleast that is what should happen in theory)
