I dont know about that bro bcoz i am a fauji kid myself and i didnt get any sort of favour from the Army for anything.

Most of my schooling was in Army schools bcoz my dad couldnt afford expensive convent schools and that would be the story of most 80s and 90s kids.

Even to buy a land was difficult for him despite being a very senior level officer.

Having said that 100% people are not perfect in any institution and there can be bad apples and i dont know if this is that case.

But again the thing will come on Abingdon bcoz he posted that pic with a narrative and the other side will say we did the same..so which side is right?

I could have never said a correct thing in my life, in what way does that justify publishing my image, name and address online?

I couldn’t care less what any of the people ‘on the other side’ look like/do/where they live. Facts and ideas matter, everything is noise

Am I capable of being wrong? Obviously. In fact I’d love to be, I’d love to see the Paras working like an actual SF, that they don’t suspend operations at night and terrorists don’t continually slip away unharmed

Like I’ve wasted 1000s of hours of my life on these matters just so some creep can come along and threaten me because he is upset with the digits I use up on public forums

I made an account on X last night bcoz earlier i was under the impression that it is usual RR going on.

There on the tweets i read about some Generals daughter you had commented on.

And their response was for your tweet where they felt that you have wrongfully involved a female who is family of a Army officer and who has no say on the matter.

So what would you say about that and if you could post that tweet as i could not access your account.

( i am trying to get your side..not trying to rub your wounds)

If you want to join the forces then maintain a constructive criticism.

Consider this as your SSB Group Discussion only.

Be respectful and dont use words like Genrols,dont call them corrupt.

These days even a lot of corporate companies do background check where they scan your social media signature.

If at all you do get questioned just be honest and say these things are a hobby and you took membership to enhance your debate skills.

Be absent from X.

Dont be scared of anything.

The opposite advice for me bro, no offence but it’s easy for you to say because you have a great job and income that doesn’t depend on the well wishes of fragile egos and their spawn.

Anyone that has any interest in getting a job in uniform should be VERY careful about anything they post online. I would refrain from making any commentary outside of using social media for the SOCIAL part, these guys have been ramping up their targeting and have shown they are not only bluffing.

It simply isn’t worth it to have your life affected because of words you post online. Don’t let the internet harm your every day- never do that.

I saw a tweet, screenshotted it and asked a question (legitimate in my opinion) how so many officers have children studying in elite western institutions. I blacked out all faces, and the handle. The only thing I left intact was the ‘HARVARD’ sweatshirt.

I deleted the tweet after I was asked to by someone in a DM

I didn’t target any individuals nor identify anyone

The day you put K Singh on X and connected it with Abingdonboy it was very easy to guess who you are.

Then you published an article with a very blunt take again with your real name and not a pen name.

Then you IMHO went head on aggressively againt the Generals.

This cocktail was bound to happen and your info was the easiest thing for them to get.

Or have they managed to hack into your phone or someone in black suit paid a visit to you then i would be bothered?

Remember, In DFI we once made a whatsapp group and you were very active there.

Anyway,the thing which you are talking about is Pakistan Army not Indian Army.

Ofcourse,bright kids of Army officers go to Harvard and Cambridge and we have nothing against them..infact its an achievement.

I think it was a mistake on your part…it could have gone worse for you.

But its a learning i am sure you will rise again.

But bro i would suggest you to either remain anonymous like most of us here OR decide to become a public figure and share your name.

You cant be both..and be bothered by the other part.

Now that you are famous haha just filter out and control your expressions and raise the topic in a much peaceful manner.

I don’t think it’s his fault. Generals feel more triggered by what an anonymous user tweets than their own incompetence. Are these the kind of people fit to lead Indian Army? No one can ever question or criticize them. They have reduced Para SF to the standards of an African militia but hey look someone made comments about a general’s daughter. Let’s go after him.
