they are good to a certain extent but had it been US/UK SF doing the same, they would've done things a bit differently.

Not to take anything away from Ass Ass Jee, I think they are a decent lot, just not in conventional warfare

looks like they have started removing the eye relief from the nods, something I have seen western SFs follow. Looks like the IA is learning new stuff with regards to infantry/sf night fighting.
I hope soon, we get to see nods and thermal clipons used together by all operators in a para sf sqad.

Not to take anything away from Ass Ass Jee, I think they are a decent lot, just not in conventional warfare

i mean they do have favorable record when it comes to Mujahideen training.

But no mujahideen outfit comes close to the indian trained LTTE imo. Mujahideen were too fanatical to employ guerilla tactics like LTTE (avoiding strong units, IED blasts, breaking contact immediately if responded to effectively, etc).
