Naa just a cource still they can name it what they want a dedicated Sniper school will need coordination from all of them even infantry. That will centralise the whole Sniper cource for whole Army with different levels for Infantry to SF like it's in US but I don't think that's the case here (happy to be wrong wish we had one badly)

During our time there was no such thing. Some how our group was lucky to have multiple sorties on Mi17 and Cessna sitting along with pilot in cockpit. But nothing beats witnessing bofors firing form just few feet away, what a marvelous gun. bc puri body jhann jhannn.. tab samajh aya ki bofors cheez kya hai.

I suppose there is actually a sniper school for SF units. Their basics like rifle handling are far different from Infantry unit snipers who undergo courses at Infantry School Mhow and some other places.

They need to do a seperate course on how to tie a battlebelt. Jokes apart, I believe this unit was the one with whom we saw first HCBH's back in 2017 and they still look like they haven't changed much from back then.

Just earmuffs for range time. They think ear pro is necessary on an outdoor range but not in a gunfight.

Sniper school should have been made in Mhow where Infantry school is.

There is a outdated Sniper course there.

Such make shift courses are run by every CAPF in India and is not the solution.
