Sig 553 is anything but budget friendly sig 553 is definitely "Gucci stuff "
Meh, we probably have different definition of what might be considered as Gucci. The 550 series are definitely well built and perform well, but they "used to be" one.
Also anything Swiss is never budget friendly.

Finally the UZIs can go away.
Not going anywhere anytime soon infact most units Dont even have an rfi out to replace their Uzi and some have gotten their Uzi upgraded already through PLR systems.

They can aim better if they removed the sight covers. Atleast do the photo op properly.
Naa not an photo op I believe their are the pics from last Def expo opening shows rehearsals so that's why the covers I believe they didn't use the covers in the actual show I don't really remember now.

For me let me explain an example
Sig4xt pro which is 500$ does same job as aimpoint t2 which is 1200$ rather than spending 1200$ on just rds i think sig4xt pro with magnifier which I will easily get under 700-1000$
Or
sig 553 which is 3,000-8000$ and in comparison you can easily get x 95 in 1500-2000$ and an good ar 15 in 800-1500$ so even if I assume those sig 553 are just 4000$ and here i am taking a conservative number than for its worth i could have gotten well kitted out whole gear in same price

With above i consider sig 553 , aimpoint t2 a capable rifle but overprized Gucci stuff ( thease two are just small example)
You can call me cheap but to me it makes more sense considering even if you save 500 ₹ on gear of one soldier than considerung you are arming 100 guy so with 100x500 you save 50,000 it could be more useful and
