Some IITs have started fashion designing/hotel management/business courses to revenuemaxx and boost their global rankings. Featured 'students' might or might not belong to engineering/STEM disciplines (quite sure they do not). IITs are doing alright - they created fresh seats to allocate quotas to females and EWS (the existing seat matrix was left untouched and follows a different framework).
