ironic the embassador can not opine, simply because he is not mexican, but in real world politics globalization and imperialis is like that
In India, the US embassy staff runs around and meets radical Islamists, Communists etc to create trouble for the ruling nationalist party.

I assume, the Americans do the same in Mexico too i.e encourage bad elements to destabilize the country.

Good on your President for calling America out.

well politics are like that, but globalization forces us to accept some policies, main problem in our relation is fear-racism-and history, but I hope it gets fixed, there are extreme elements in both countries, but we are neighbours so the best is peace

US elites see mexicans and mexico from neo colonists lens. No colored or for that matter non anglo saxon nations are seen as their equals. Few among colored may get religions, platitudes, booker, peace or Magsaysay awards as reward for spitting on your own people - but that never means they consider colored as their equal ( and In colored I count Latins too)

it is more economics than racial, Latins we are not a race, you have white Mexicans, native Mexicans, afromexicans, interracial Mexicans etc etc.

There is racism involved, I do not deny that, but I also have white american friends and I know Mexicans married to white americans even in my family.

So that is not the root cause.

Economics and a tendency of American politicians to blame Mexico (used as a scapegoat) for the USA problems.

They do not want the reforms since elected judges by the senate can not be removed, voted ones they can be removed.
So a corrupt judge can be removed and by being voted needs to follow what the majority wants.

But this means bought judges by USA companies can not be removed if elected by the senate, but they can be removed if voted.

It is more economics

Mexico's Judicial Reforms Spark Strike, Investor Concerns, and US Condemnation

this is what she is really saying the current judges are in the pay roll of the USA companies, these companies do not want to pay taxes and want the mexican constitution to be disregarded by the judges, (Mexico has laws to keep our natural resources only in the hands of Mexicans) so she is calling only democracy for US companies.

voted judge can be removed and the vast majority of Mexicans want Mexican companies own our natural resources.

The problem is economic

You forget colonialism was side effect of western economics only

latin america is a different type of colony, it was like Australia and the USA a place where Europeans settled, but contrary to them many Europeans mixed with other races thus racism is the main trouble.

These are white Mexicans, sometimes white Mexicans feel more affinity to white americans or Canadians than none white Mexicans

Britain, Portugal tried same(often forcibly) here. Anglo Indians, Luso Indians are the names given to then. They too more than often exhibited more submissive behavior towards european ancestary. But large part of India strongly resisted inter mixing. Infact its colonial british provided discriminatory privileges to mix breed - tried to uplift the image of them in Indian society - as mixing was largely looked down upon.

the american colonial experienced was a bit different, China, Japan, India and south east Asia were highly populated and not so less developed than the America`s aboriginal population.

So in some nations like Uruguay or Argentina you have populations of mostly Europeans, on average you have 39% Europeans and 45% mixed race population, So racism is not as bad, however prejudices and preferences play a part in discrimination.
But is not a big problem because there is a lot of racial intermixing

Imperialist Fantasy: Historian Greg Grandin on Trump Threat to Retake Panama Canal, Invade Mexico

Donald Trump has set his sights on the Americas, threatening to retake the Panama Canal if Panama doesn't lower fees for U.S. ships. The United States controlled the waterway until 1977, when President Jimmy Carter signed a landmark treaty to give Panama control of the canal. Trump has also recently floated the idea of annexing Canada, and even a possible "soft invasion" of Mexico. Pulitzer Prize-winning Yale historian Greg Grandin explains the practical impossibilities of such plans but analyzes the political impacts of Trump's statements. "There's no way the United States is going to fill out greater America. This is red meat for the Trump base," says Grandin. "It's classic Trump."
