It seems that the issues that plagued the maratha confederation in the late 1700s like lack of standardisation, foreign influence and vested interests and forcing soldiers and group leaders to pay for their own equipment played a huge role in the lackluster performance of the marathas against European powers, inspite of individual bravery and innovation in some aspects.


It seems like we are still facing the same issues especially in the army.

Fun fact army brought all their new rifle including ak203 and cqb carbine with forward vertical grip and bayonet as a single package but refused to add weapon sight in the package which is the only way to standardized a sight

The soldier is wearing an go pro on the helmet so wild guess is a go pro smart remote which connects to the camera with wifi. The red and green button mat be to stop and resume recording.
