Isn’t this much of a gap between the Magnifier and the Holographic Sight going to be an issue? I’ve always observed that they’re usually mounted right behind the other.

Yup; it should be as close as possible or in case it can be flipped then the gap shouldn't be more than 15mm.

Not any serious issue but you'll have one, I'd say inconvenience; instead of having an unobstructed view through the glass of the holographic sights you'd might see some parts of the frame too. Your sight picture would get slightly reduced.

These things are pretty much like how we and older people use smartphones; one uses it because they know what it can do & what they need and the other uses it because they're forced to.
