Looking at the dummy gun, I think it’s just someone wearing a costume. But troops inside the Polaris ATV were wearing M1974 Fibreglass Helmets.

In 25 days we'd be having republic day parade which would get concluded with a Chap spinning on top of a Royal Enfield with a binoculars, providing 360° surveillance.
This show of force would happen just 30 days after China did their show of force.

I'd say save this for that day, it'd come handy.

Somebody needs to tell them that helmet shells come in various sizes for a reason.

Stop this style of military parade. PERIOD

What exactly is the point of showing your valour in "this way"!?

You've both Tejas and Dhruv is service but you're not confident enough in single engine planes and Dhruv's performance so you chose to bring in antique An-32s (which must be a very safe plane given it's record) and keep these on tableau.

What power do you project by having a Chap, on international stage wear a fibreglass helmet from 74?

All these may be nitpicking, so just leave this. Tell me what kind of Sub-Saharan display it is to parade just one, just one piece of a half dozen different types of systems? Not to mention the fact that these were being led by BMP-2s, first inducted some five decades ago.

One mortar carrier, one LUV, one ATV, one quad...why!? You're not some tribe from Middle East who's showcasing all the different vehicles they've captured from the enemy tribe in the recent raid.
At least for parade bring 6-7 Kestrel. Fine, don't induct them...but for God sake show-off them to the world instead of taking pride in renaming imported equipment with mythological names.

If you want to show-off all the technological advancements you've done in the previous years then bring in QRSAM launcher instead of Kubs from 1968 (I know all the technicalities of how Akash is exponentially more advanced...but for the world it's still a Kub), replace BMP-2s by Kestrel, replace T-90s by Arjun and make a Zorawar lead the whole parade.

And if you want to show your military valor then bring in as many T-90s you can and parade them. Bring in 10 Agni TELs, two columns of 8 BrahMos TELs.

This is how a good military parade looks by the way...

Even if we put few dozen t90/Arjun tank in the parade, those with even basic knowledge ain't gonna feel show of force.
As for those with no interest in defense/military those single peice modern vehicles are impressive enough.

I came to an conclusion to stop doing this nautanki in R-Day and Border with Pakistan which looks like clown show.

If we want to do an Proper R-Day parade, Agreed with you. Just uniform tech platforms like Arjun, Whap, QRFV in even number, ASLV in even number, QRSAM, Akash, MRSAM, , Nirbhay, Pralay in Even numbers.

One argument i've seen online is the Republic or Independence parades are not Military parades as such, not something like the Russkie's Victory Day parade in Moscow.

So it is ok if they don't have tank columns and just have piecemeal displays of the newly-inducted maal

However those "acrobatics on motorcycle" stunts need to go, Unnecessary waste of soldier's time and effort over "muh traditions" created by some Gora sahibs Pre-Independence for the lolz i'm sure

There is a section at the end of this video called "indian army gear", it's def some PR work.

Let us hope they also bring such uniformity-and-gear-for-PR to their main SM handles on twitter and insta

One thing I noticed here is one of the Plastic Brackets holding the Accessory Mounting System has come off, this is one of my major concerns with systems like this that use these plastic parts on their durability and effectiveness.
