Modernisation of Indian Army Infantry

The Indian Army quite possibly used the Pakistan Army as their baseline for equipping the average 'Jawan'. Just compare how similar the two armies look barring camo.

Indian Army
  • Sig 716i - 7.62x51mm
  • AK 203 - 7.62x39mm

Pakistan Army
  • G3M - 7.62x51mm
  • Type 56 - 7.62x39mm

Arty guy on the handle
Although the weapon may be an abomination, the thought process would have been that arty batteries would be easy targets for the flying menace.
Instead of these Fanta Insas on a static platform mount better LMGs or a Phalanx ciws  something like that on a Mahindra Armado that'll travel around with the batteries

Every time I see a new picture of this advanced contraption. The number of INSAS rifles goes up. It was 3 the first time I saw it. Then 4, then 5, now it's 6. Now if this isn't innovation on the razor sharp bleeding edge, I don't know what is.
