they definitely don't want to have f 35 its damm expensive and is very expensive to operate and by the time we give order for it and iaf start recieveing it amca and Tejas mk2 will already under production or near to production f 35 makes no sense for iaf and not to forget american conditions with it

Thats impressive for the plane and frankly more than I thought it would be.

But as a capability thats pretty pathetic, reducing your payload by 50%. Thats primarily an anti ship configuration with 1 missile. The MICAs are for self defence and Rafale carries 4 of those in any configuration just like Tejas carries two ASRAAMs.

With catapult you can take off with the whole 8 ton payload, possibly even more. The circle around that carrier more than doubles in radius. The effective sortie rate increases by a factor of 2 as well.

About MICA : no, it's not a self defense missile only.
MICA means in french Missile d'Interception et de Combat d'Autodéfense = self defense and interception missile.
Self defense : it is why it is fitted with vectorised thrust.
Interception : the legacy missile as lond chord wings for range. Max range +/- 80km (a Taiwanese M2000, in 1997, scored a direct hit on a target at 67km)
MICA NG, expected in 2026, has new seekers (AESA for RF and new IR seeker) and dual boost engine to improve the range and PK. Some say the range will be improved by 20 to 25%....

A Meteor is only 50 kg more heavy than a MICA, so with 120 liters of fuel less, you can replace 2 MICA by 2 Meteor....

J20 - 1000+ although they might decide to limit orders. 200 in service today and producing 120 a year. These will also be upgraded with new engines by then.

Su35 - Retired
Su30MKK/2 - Retired

PAF 2035 (80 5th gen, 340 4th gen)
J35 - Assuming at least 80 (current order for 40 being negotiated, they will have those by 2030)
JF17B3 - 160 all upgraded to block 3, no future orders as they are moving to J10
J10CE - 20 plus definite future orders. I will assume 100+
F16 - 85 upgraded to latest block 70 standard. Or retired altogether if US doesn't support

Didn't mean self defence in that sense, just wanted to say that payload is ALWAYs on the Rafale no matter what the configuration. Self defence probably wrong choice of words.
