Music Listening

since tomorrow is mahashivraatri, and pradosh too (means tehrvi or 13th moon) reciting shiv taandav stotram is beneficial

there are so many versions of it on youtube, but this one is my favourite as it's paced well, music doesn't interfere much with devotional singing (something that annoys me beyond any reasons when it comes to renditions of our dharmik songs shloks and so on youtube) and seems original

if you happen to know any other version of it that is sung with devotion, please post it in the thread

This might be off-topic, but after that terrible manga ending in 2021, I've stayed away from anything related to AOT ever since. Watching these clips made me remember Birdren.

i myself was giga pissed for years that i skipped watching english dub of the anime but i got bored of lack of good thought provoking anime after AoT so grudgingly went back to it, binged english dub within a week and it made me realise in some ways english dub of AoT is better, though whatever happened post the rumbling is rushed and Iseyama pulled a F U to fans in big way 🤷‍♂️

the only anime i thoroughly enjoyed that also compelled me to read manga from beginning post AoT, is Sousou no Frieren // Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and it's from fantasy genre that's not even something i really like to follow much

don't know about manga but i was kind of ok with anime's ending while most peope were'nt . they showed a much balanced ending ig. but those guys are planning different endings to AOT to satisfy larger audience , just hope it's all just rumours.
well, anime music is still music so it goes in this thread, so
some of three my favourite soundtracks from Shingeki no Kyojin // Attack on Titan

I think the boat for an alternate ending sank a long time ago. From what I've read, they didn't do a 180 with the anime's ending and just stuck with the manga version. It would feel pretty strange for them to change that now, especially after all these years. That said, Evangelion did go through a full reboot, so maybe after a couple of decades, they could revisit it. Personally, though, I'm pretty numb about the whole thing and don’t expect much to come from it.

I think you might enjoy watching Odd Taxi. As for mangas, I’ve also lost most of my interest. I just occasionally pick up a few things, mostly comedy series like Grand Blue.

Evangelion
now that you've mentioned Evangelion, i can't help but post some music...

(sidenote, Amanda Lee, or 'AmaLee', is also into voice acting, she voiced 'Marin Kitagawa' in english dub of 'Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru' // 'My Dress-Up Darling')

AmaLee is one singer that makes nice english renditions of japanese songs,

other noteworthy artist + singer is Caitlin Myers, who've successfully redone lots of japanese songs in english with keeping lyrics and vocals similar
