CENTRE FOR MILITARY AIRWORTHINESS & CERTIFICATION (CEMILAC) certification of Primary Radar of Netra AEW&C
This is to certify that the "The Indigenous LRUs of PRIMARY RADAR" of AEW&C designed and developed by LRDE, DRDO and manufactured by firms as per list given below, are hereby approved for production and use on EMB 145i — AEW&C Aircraft. The details of LRUs with Part Nos. and applicable SOPs are listed in Appendices A1 & A2. These LRUs have been tested and compliance has been verified as per the applicable requirements laid out in respective Technical Specification and Qualification Test Plan documents as listed in Appendices A1 & A2.
The Provisional Clearances accorded for this product are hereby superceded consequent to issuance of this Type Approval. The process adopted to manufacture this product is sealed henceforth. The Type Approval number quoted above must be reflected in all relevant drawings, contracts & release notes.
This Type Approval is valid up to 31st December 2020 unless otherwise cancelled or suspended or revoked and will have to be renewed subsequently. The vendor shall request G.D (Systems), CEMILAC for subsequent renewal, three months before the expiry of Type Approval, with all relevant documents including performance feedback.
Prior concurrence of Centre for Military Airworthiness & Certification (CEMILAC), Bengaluru — 560 037 will have to be obtained to adopt any changes in the SOP and in the declared performance indicated in the enclosed Type Record. The Type Approval is not at all transferable to any other agency.
This approval is contingent upon strict adherence to the process demonstrated and the quality control aspects of bulk production being cleared by DGAQA, Ministry of Defence, Govemment of India.
