North Korea has no long range naval SAM at this moment.

The 32 smaller SAM VLS cells could be for the FN-6 SAM (MANPAD) or the HHQ-7 which is already on the Amnok Class corvette.

Given the 'stud/dot' present on the 12 rear SAM VLS cells, this could be the naval version of the Shtil-1 missile in it's new VLS, similar to the arrangement on the INS Tushil (Batch III Talwar Class frigate).

They do.
Where does your source for FN6 comes from? It is a point defense weapon same as pantsir m installed on this ship.
It's not a short Range sam

These shops are far better equipped than ours
Definitely chinese have helped a lot
That too in 5000 tons, definitely would have compromised in range
Hope we add atleast vlsrsam to our destroyers forget about CM and BM
This thing is a loaded power keg waiting to go kaboom.

Brief analysis of the (North Korean) Korean People's Army Navy (KPANF) Choi Hyun class Destroyer/Frigate.

It seems to be a very well rounded, albeit mishmashed combination of North Korean, Chinese and Russian naval armaments on a Type 054A/B hull.

Displacement: 5000 tons

So apparently North Korea's second brand new Choi Hyun class Destroyer/Frigate has suffered a major accident during it's launch.

The damaged vessel appears to be a second Choe Hyon-class warship, the first of which North Korea unveiled with great fanfare in April, the South Korean military said.
During the ceremony at a shipyard in the north-eastern port city of Chongjin Wednesday, the 5,000-ton destroyer — North Korea’s answer to an Aegis — was being launched sideways from the quay into the water.

But the stern slid into the water first, crushing the hull and causing the ship to lose balance. The report did not specify what caused the accident.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the vessel was lying on its side in the water on Thursday. South Korean and U.S. authorities had been monitoring the launch and determined that the side launch had failed, said spokesman Lee Sung-joon.

The failure was particularly embarrassing for Kim, not only because he was present for it. He ordered the ship to be restored by a key meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party meeting in late June.
Satellite images last week showed that the naval destroyer was preparing to be side-launched from the quay, an unusual method for North Korea, according to a May 15 report by the North Korea-focused website 38 North.
“The use of this launch method could be one of necessity, as the quay where the ship is being built does not have an incline,” according to 38 North.

Many shipyard workers will get executed for causing this embarrassment to our Comrade.

Also, there's a chance that this was a nicely planned sabotage.
