Both. You can see the F 16 peeking out and there was a SAAB AWACS in the hanger along with a PAF Squadron Leader which got 72'd.In that hangar, was it F-16 OR an AWACS ?

Nope. There is no proof towards the same. There was a Mirage 2000 fuel tank at Wuyan which was removed.Mirage 2K brother
Modi deserves credit for political will to initiate Op Sindoor. And for adding Muridke and Bawahalpur targets to the terms of reference given to IAF. Giving enough freedom to military for ensuring escalation dominance by May 10th. I have no complaints there, in terms of dealing with Pakistan BJP has been leaps and bounds better than INC.
My concern is that IAF losses in Op Sindoor is an opportunity too if channeled right which could be missed. One aspect of it is giving a freehand to IAF to order whatever aircraft it wants for MRFA, it will most likely be another batch of Rafales. I doubt Rahul Gandhi will oppose it like last time. Increasing DRDO funding and to incentivize DRDO & DcPP to begin production of Astra 2 & 3, Rudram 2 & 3 ASAP. A lot can be done if institutions feel there is a sword hanging above them.
You won't see any other nation having gone to war being asked about lost equipment.
FFS, US lost a plane to a militia just a month back. You never see anyone having any kind of discussion on that. There was not a single debate or discussion on it.
The wreckage site clearly indicates that at least one Pakistani JF-17 crashed inside Indian territory. Some may question why the Indian government hasn’t publicly announced this or displayed the wreckage as they did with downed Pakistani missiles and drones. I don’t have an answer to that, but what’s certain is that the wreckage belongs to a JF-17 and not any other aircraftWe lost one Rafale, one MiG-29 and one Mirage-2000. Latter two are very old now and are being used only because of no replacement yet.
With restrictions on IAF on not doing a proper SEAD/DEAD ops (probably that might've alerted jihadis to hide away, or just that bureaucrats were dumb) and offensive counter-air ops (due to lack of long range BVRs and AEW&CS), hitting the targets and coming back itself is an achievement. The aircraft lost were performing combat air patrols when they were hit by their latest J-10C and PL-15s.
PAF was unable to do anything when India started SEAD/DEAD ops between 8th and 10th May, and then we struck their viral airbases and neutralised their high value assets.
Not happening, I've explained this yesterday. Op Sindoor has left a big scar on their capabilities especially surveillance, and their aircrafts are being forced to fly more sorties than they would in peacetime to conserve airframe life.
Even without that they were in crisis. Their Army Aviation Corps is already turning into a Museum slowly. Their Air Force is next, and their Naval Air Arm follows suit.
They have to commit to being a rakhail of either one of their Sugar Daddies instead of being a mast raand like they are currently
Them being a randi is why neither US nor China will offer them the Good Shit, and definitely not for free like they used to receive earlier via military aid.
I think they will finally do nikah with China for his big, black J-35 and block Uncle Sam's phone number
As it is most of their modern acquisitions are from China only, tanks, aircraft, ships what have you.
Anyway, good for us only if they become a full Chinese vassal, Uncle Sam will finally behave...
You let IAF chief (or close to that level) brief Rahul Gandhi and opposition leaders about capabilities of Rafale and how much of the infrastructure and training for it is already setup which means it will be cheaper and faster to procure than an entirely new MRFA.If a Rafale was shot down it would on the contrary be a political mess by the Italian mongrel you mention, he will bark loudly about it, that "Modi wants to buy more of this Ra-FAIL fighter jet to make his friends rich!" and our Leaderji will get scared and sit on the MRFA or whatever for another 5 years.
What’s confirmed is that the wreckage belongs to a JF-17.It's unclear because it didn't happen.
Modi would be running and shouting about it in rallies if it happened .
If that's the situation then "Leaderji" can just bide for time, why do the rhetoric and initiate kinetic action then?Leaderji will get scared and sit on the MRFA or whatever for another 5 years.

If opposition still create a ruckus then they will be exposed. If the opposition loses public support on this matter then you don't need to bother about them any longer.
F-35 may be expensive for smaller air forces, but for a large air force like India’s—already operating high-end jets like the Rafale—it is not expensive. India also has the capability to set up local maintenance infrastructure for F-35, which means the operating costs would be paid in rupees, making them significantly lower than what U.S., U.K., Japan, or South Korea currently incur.Raul and his coterie are malevolent and not good faith actors.
He will turn it into a shitfest like his original RAFALE SCAM allegation.
Leaderji is a coward who fears even allegations so he'll cave and not do a G2G volume purchase of Rafale or do an MRFA tender which will take another 5 years of trials and negotiations.
They never had "public support" even during the original RAFAL ESCAM drama, but nevertheless Leaderji got scared.
If we place an order for like 72 Rafales now by 2030 maybe all will be delivered.
I don’t understand why, despite clear evidence of a downed Pakistani JF-17 wreckage inside Indian territory, some people here continue to deny it. The Government of India may have its reasons for not disclosing it publicly at this time, but the fact remains—the wreckage is indeed that of a JF-17.It just shows our national character that we want to keep talking about topics which our enemy wants to talk about. And then we wonder how Pak wins perception/PR battles. International politics, diplomacy needs thick skin. Government has no reason to accept or deny or make it unambigous how many aircrafts we lost or whether we lost any.
At appropriate time same should be disclosed in Parliament. There is no obligation to discuss/disclose this to general public

Expectations are high as works are done in back stage for a big announcement on Aug 5. Multiple journalist had already dropped hints. high-level secret meetings, sudden administrative changes, large-scale troop movements, missile tests, and unscheduled political chatter. suggest that the Modi government is preparing for a significant and potentially major announcement or action in the coming days. Is it restoring statehood to J&K ?
Wait we have one of those? Where do I sign up?Should have shared this in our secret society group Paijaan

After Pulwama... govt took a bold step of 370 abrogation... I don't think that after pahalgam they will take any step that makes them appear weak. It would be disaster & negative stories would be woven around it.
"Pakistan/terrorism ke darr se statehood restore kar diya... maybe it was a condition of ceasefire put by trump/munir... & what not"
So I hope govt doesn't do anything stupid.
