After witnessing the string of events that have take place over the last month post ceasefire it has becoming increasing clear that OP Sindoor has turned out be a massive military victory and a great political defeat for the govt.

Today’s situation eerily mirrors albeit at a lesser scale the mood of the german population post ww1. There was a genuine belief among the people of german empire that they gave up too early surrendered to early stopped to early while not committing to the fullest at the start.

The mood on the ground especially among the people i interact was one of a jilted person. India Pakistan match unbanning of accounts and certain political decisions are just adding fuel to the fire.

I can say with certainty that had Modi decided to just make a grand speech and commit to the conflict against the entire population would have been behind him hook and sinker.

We are talking about a man who survived covid and demonetisation. His refusal to do anything is creating an atmosphere of defeat among his voter base and while they make score in state elections there like the last time there is a serious chance they might simply fall even further than the last time in national elections.

The whole aura of a strongman leading from the front is eroding not because he does not act but because he always ends in between which causes even more issues among the masses.

From the most regularest of joes to corporate hotshots, I've seen exceeding disappointment and bafflement at the ceasefire. Commies don't count, because they're...something else.

I was surprised how much for war, against Muslim even the mild mannered people I know were.

These days, due to content yorubers, topics that were restricted to certain circles get trickled down to masses in languages and ways they understand. This unbanning is going to 100% blow up in their faces by this time next week.
 
Ran my first scenario in Command Modern Ops (still very new to it), couldn't get PN and PAF to detect IN CBG & SAG and for them to launch Anti-ship missiles. IN was jamming hard so PN knew where the CBG was in general but no radar locks.
- Both sides were computer controlled, same veteran capability
- IN had:
1 CBG - INS VIkrant [18x mig29k, 4 ka-31, 2 MH60R, 4 ka-28], 1 P-15B, 1 P-15A, 1 P-17A, 1 Talwar FFG
1 SAG - 1 P-15B, 1 P-15A, 1 P-28
- PN had:
4 Type054A, 3 F22P, 2 Babur Corvette, PNS Alamgir w/ Harpoon, 4 JF-17 blk3 w/ CM400AKG, 4 JF-17 blk3 w/ YJ83, 4 F-16 blk52 for escort.

PN was stationed just outside Karachi and Ormara.

Ignore the aircraft losses on Pakistan side, couldn't figure out air operations so it played no role on either side.

CAMM-ER did intercept multiple Brahmos, I had say it is 5x more capable than Chinese SAM. Scored 3 ship kills out of 18 missiles.

  • 1 CBG with same loadout
  • 2 x P 15A (Kolkata Class), 3 x P15B (Vishakhapatnam Class), 2 x P15 (Delhi Class)
  • 5 x Talwar Class, 2 x Shivalik Class
  • 6 x Kilo Class
Assume Shtil-1 on Talwar Class as HQ-16, Talwar Class is Admiral Grigorovich Class.

PN availability was pretty low as per satellite images. Most of their submarines and surface ships were in dock / dry-dock.

Assume 40% PN ships are unavailable. That will make -
  • 3x Type 54A (defending Karachi)
  • 2x F22P (defending Karachi)
  • 1x Babur (defending Karachi)
  • 1x Alamgir (defending Karachi)
  • 2x Yarmook (defending Karachi)
  • 2x Agosta 90B (trying to sneak in towards CBG)
Additionally,
  • Karachi defended by HQ-9 SAM
  • 24x JF-17s strike party with CM400AKG/YJ83 mix
  • 12x F-16 Blk52+ Escort / CAP
  • 3x P3C Orion ELINT
Try to simulate air attack. First shots fired by India, PAF strike package scrambles after first shots are fired (don't know how much you can simulate).

Agree with @vampyrbladez ORBAT for Indian strike group. Additionally,
  • S-400 at Bhuj
  • 4x Su-30MKI CAPs over Gujarat (will assist in BVR battle)
  • 12x Jaguar Strike Package with Harpoon (attacks PN ships).

You shouldn't be.

I've very rarely come across a Hindu IRL who actually has a positive opinion of Muslims.

This includes a wide range of people on both financial levels and ideological levels. The 1% rich hate them, the Dalits in my grandparents village hate them, the vast urban middle class hates them, the rural dominant castes hate them etc.

Even the Congress cadres know what the mullas are like. It's a tiny fringe I'd say not even 5% of Hindus who are mostly Commie types that see the Muslims as victims. It's just that this small % of Commie Hinos are embedded in Education, Media etc overwhelmingly relative to their population.

As for BJP, I've long given up on expecting anything concrete from them. I support them only because the other option is a openly Hindu hating Abrahamic Congress.

Also, I see BJP supporters boasting about 76% approval rate Modi has had for 11 years. That's solely due to Hindus. Remove Modi and put any kattar H leader in his place and those numbers will still hold. If not for Hindutva support base and if we were to judge Modi strictly on economy and development, he'd struggle to get 50% approval. Sadly he has taken his base for granted.
