CAMM-ER did intercept multiple , I had say it is 5x more capable than Chinese SAM. Scored 3 ship kills out of 18 missiles.

How come you're wargaming with CAMM - ER missiles ? PN doesn't have it irrespective they may desire it for MBDA the developer & mfg agency has deep ties with the Indian defence establishment which includes a JV with BDL ( or is it BEL ) to mfg ASRAAMs in India .

Then there are other European suppliers like Thales etc who've their own deep connections with the Indian security establishment. In the light of all this it's fairly impossible for the Paxtanis to get their hands on it .

I think the Punjabis of "Silent" and "Boomer" generations have some sort of suicidal fraternal love for Pakjabis. Praveen Sawhney may be a Chinese simp but his effinity towards Pakjabis stems from a "pan Panjabism". Sawhney is a Pan-Punjabist. Pan-Punjabists have emotional sentimental bonding with other Punjabis, regardless of the religion which may be because of same clothes, same language and food. When the likes of Sawhney, Panag etc say that in 1971, the Indian army did not defeat Pakistani Army (which is factually untrue) on the western front, he is guided by his pan-Punjabism line of thought. For him Pakistani Army is nothing but an Army of Punjabis and as such he identifies with them more than Indian Army.

After witnessing the string of events that have take place over the last month post ceasefire it has becoming increasing clear that OP Sindoor has turned out be a massive military victory and a great political defeat for the govt.

Today’s situation eerily mirrors albeit at a lesser scale the mood of the german population post ww1. There was a genuine belief among the people of german empire that they gave up too early surrendered to early stopped to early while not committing to the fullest at the start.

The mood on the ground especially among the people i interact was one of a jilted person. India Pakistan match unbanning of accounts and certain political decisions are just adding fuel to the fire.

I can say with certainty that had Modi decided to just make a grand speech and commit to the conflict against the entire population would have been behind him hook and sinker.

You should realize that they wanted a ceasefire anyway, committing to a fight with the piglets right now would result in sanctions and embargoes, destroying the ekanami and our industrial trajectory.

People would have given #PhullSapport for the duration of the conflict yes, but what about after? Churchill led UK to victory but the people dumped him in the first post-ww2 election.

The reason everyone was mad is that IAF had the upper hand and was fucking them good, in a few days the Pakis would themselves beg for ceasefire, but then our guys have to appease that Orange prick.

CAMM-ER/ Albatros NG is a 40 Km SAM in the same class as the Shtil 1(~50 Km) and HQ 16 (50-70 Km).

It isn't designed to intercept high value targets like the BrahMos and LRAShM. It is meant to free up Aster 30 missiles which ARE rated against Mach 4+ maneuverable targets.

It's a mid range missile to plug gaps in the fleet air defence by frigate and Corvette sized ships.

Our own VLSRSAM is actually better than the CAMM-ER.

Thanks for the information but the discussion was limited to the role of the CAMM - ER in the context of countering the .

In any case PN isn't getting the Aster & while the may be over kill in case of the PNS Babur sending a sub sonic CM won't cut it IMO.

So either it's the Rudram series as & when it's inducted or any of its Israeli analogues we possess assuming they're developed for sea targets as well.

Else it's the LRAShM or SMART as & when they're inducted. Plenty of options but the CAMM ER has the potential to act as a spoiler.
