Claiming India tried to de nuclearlise Pakistan with couple of hits on Kirana hills is far flexing. Pakistan has nuclear enrichment facility at Kahuta and Kirana hills may be the storage of nuclear weapons. They also have Jinnah garrison in Khuzdar, Balaochistan which is larger than Kirana hills storage facility. The bombing on Kirana hills was to warn Pakistan their nuclear facilities are not safe if things escalate.

Correct, I assume this is a bunker type facility so we don't have the arms necessary to blast it if it's built into a mountain.

The earliest news of Kairana Hills hit was like we hit the entrances with brahmos which collapsed, which is plausible and may have happened.

Sat imagery now shows we hit the mountain itself, so these hits only show our intent and capability.

Perhaps it is why we hear the news of some Agni based bunker buster missile being developed

Doubt we will re-start this conflict after signing ceasefire, the most optimal time for follow up strikes was after bombing of pakistani airbases on may 10th.

Not so sure about the pre-emptive part, but I think IND is waiting for Pak to make even half a mistake/maybe even goading it a little bit to make one - which can then be used as a justification to hit them hard

We hit PoK in Uri
We hit non-PoK pakistani bits in Balakot( in KPK province )
We hit all of Pakjab and some of Sindh in Op Sindoor

Now pre-emptive strikes w/out any terror attack would fit nicely in this chain of escalation but who knows.

Well Air Marshall Bharati also mentioned this in the press briefing that pakis were allowing civilian aircraft to operate from Lahore when IAF was conducting the drone attacks there. Although I don't think they will shoot down civilian aircraft, but to be honest, they should next time and blame it on PeeAF's blue-on-blue (fratricide)

1x Rafale : Crashed at Bhatinda, hit by HQ-9.
1x Mirage-2000 : Crashed at Pampore, hit by Anza MANPADs by terrorists.
1x Mig-29 : Crashed at Ramban, hit by HQ-9.
1x Heron Mk-2 : Crashed at Akhnoor/Rajouri, hit by HQ-9.

7x PAF Jets shot down by our Air Defence (S400 + MRSAM), 2x High-Tech (likely DA-20 EW or Saab-2000 AEW&CS), rest normal jets.

Ground Losses to PAF due to IAF strikes were apparently devastating and > 8 PAF assets damaged just on ground.

Something similar happened with Yahya Khan after 1971 defeat. At that time, I think there were officers from Bahawalpur division that threatened mutiny and Yahya saw the writing on the wall.
