Airburst I would guess, a good number of ours have been upgraded to use radar guidance for tracking.

They track by radar and EO sensors, and shot airburst rounds. However, this is just my speculation, looking at trajectory of rounds it just looks more consistent with 40mm tracer going out than MLRS coming in

This is going to be biggest embarrassment for Pakistan and secondary embarrassment for US.

Why an embarrassment for the US? Those are very old F-16s from the 80s or early 90s. US also refused to upgrade them to semi modern equipment many times until so many of it's conditions were met. Pakis have only themselves to blame for having a dogshit economy to be reliant on the US with 0 leverages since the Americans pulled out from Afghanistan.
