When they retaliate they always go after our military assets which was evident in 2019. So why does our supreme leader stop at only terror infrastructure? Okay, bombing air bases might be going little too far but how about knocking out their air defenses?

And your claim of using Rafales and SCALP missiles is not verified. Sending our priced possessions in highly defended skies would not have been our strategy. Mirage 2000? Maybe. In fact I am more inclined to believe they might have had a role as they are good at bombing ground targets. They have proven their mettle in Kargil too. But they are always accompanied by SU-30MKI. If we still have some leftovers of SPICE-2000 we might have used that. But none of it is confirmed at this point. If Rafales were used they would have been part of strike package to deter their aircrafts. Anyway, let's see what happens now and things will slowly come out.

We have used some stand off missiles. What are those remains a mystery at this point in time. All the targets were within 30km from the border except one which was around 150km. Our missiles should have lot of range and our aircrafts should have launched at very high altitude to hit those targets precisely if and all we used IAF. Let's hope our forces are prepared another wave of attacks. This is not enough from my point of view.
