Orange ape can jump up & down all he wants.

It's time for the government to prepare for a war ( a two front war ) that can happen anytime. Let our MIC burn night oil to ready a stockpile for the same. The BSF and other paramilitary forces should undergo modernization on a war scale. Make our navy stronger. Somehow I feel that an order for Su is coming out soon. Let the government sponsor R&D in eligible drone companies with strict timeliness for result. Pay them few crs each to achieve defined targets.

Drones baby....drones.
I would love to see millions of drones going all over from our western border into nook and corner of Pakis.
Half of them can be 1000 rupee drones with Sivakasi crackers in them.
Can really see drones being the point of attack in near future, especially against pakis

And many more

  • Expedite the development of Project Kusha
  • Order 500 each of 52 cal MGS and 39 cal MaRG along with a few Garuda105 from Kalyani to begin with for both paki and chinki front
  • Scrap Stryker for good and order Whap variants in large numbers
  • Turkey has committed $3-5B for it's TF-35000 engine while South Korea is investing $2.3B for its KF-21 Boramae program. While we select some partner like RR/Safran in the interim, GoI/MoD/IAF should commit ~$5B for the Kaveri program
  • Since the missiles dept is one of DRDO's best arm, develop an indigenous alternative for every foreign missile we've used or considered using in the recent conflict along with fastracking the development of existing missiles like Astra-III, Gandiva, SFDR, Rudram-II etc
  • Develop and upgrade existing Akash systems to Akash-NG/Prime along with Akashteer Integrated Air Defense Network
  • Given the pivotal role of drones in modern warfare, Bhargavastra anti-drone system is the need of the hour
  • 156 Prachand are simply not enough and the existing orders will require Helina ATGM
  • Pinaka-III with a range in-excess of 300km to counter PLA's forward command structures and most of paki land will be within range
  • Loitering munitions like Nagastra along with UAVs/UCAVs like Archer, Ghatak, Tapas etc

yes but uske liye we need to take finance ministry on board. that's easier said than done, and with good reason:
  • FM grants funds for projects basis their ROI. eg. infra projects get quicker approvals since they generate economic activity during their complete lifespans. Defence acquisitions are not contributory to economy, hence not a priority
  • Silver lining - the above is true especially for imports. for domestic defence projects, the ROI is better (though still not as great as infra and other projects)
  • with indian weapon systems being battle proven now, logical way fwd for GOI would be to establish an end-to-end MIC with defence manufacturing, MRO and R&D setups in india for domestic use and exports too. this not only establishes india as a defence export state, but more importantly gives us strategic autonomy
  • while FM should be more forthcoming for such a setup, it's a mammoth task to set this up. first and foremost we'd need the red tape and babudom to be minimized to remove the barrier to entry for our startups. GOI needs to seriously take this up, if not already

We are really a superpower. We just don't know it. The 3 day conflict just removed the psychological barrier. Indians suffer from decision paralysis. That mental block has been broken.

Indian foreign policy is now very clear in objectives, it doesn't dwell on what ifs.

calm down, we are not a superpower yet!

every superpower - US, USSR, China - has had one crucial ingredient. that's the presence of a strong industrial manufacturing base. that allows you to keep churning out equipment and supplies quickly as they get dwindled during war. that's why the US dominated WW2 over better-quality-but-less-produced german weapons, USSR could throw tank after tank into the eastern front, and is now the chinese are able to dictate terms.

we unfortunately still don't have a solid industrial base yet, and setting one up would easily take 30-40 years. thanks to our powers that be, we have been denied that capability since the 70s, while china embarked on this journey at this time.

we would need nothing short of a miracle to set this up in the coming 1-2 decades, and that is if this govt stays in power for that long. we're already losing much of our vaunted dEmoGRaphiC diVIdeND. the opposition is more than happy to be defeatist and let any opportunity slip away.

What we destroyed in Nurkhan airbase was two turkish trailer bases mobile command center .

And it looks like this from inside . You can count casualties they hide .

We were nt fckng around with some social media wins of rafael vs j10 or killing some civilians in blast and post online .. runway , radars , mobile command centers , hangers , hq 9 , nuclear storage .. we were planning for a dominant victory . Things would have gone real bad for pakistan .

I had been saying this for many months. The war is won on the basis of loitering drones and hitech drone, air defence and artillery shells.
This I had realised from Ukraine Russia war. We should understand the modern wars are different . Tanks and buildings are sitting ducks.
Men power is important but it’s diverse we need people who can operate drone not just soldiers but techies.
Cyber war fare is at a different level. Attack their important website n steal data. Go for technology jamming.

Ya'll Nibbiars 7 Indian airports are run by a Turkish aviation firms. Time to pull the plug on the contract?

Few things that became very evident with Op Sindoor,
1. India can neutralize Paki's nuke threat at will. All these decades the paki pasand political/goi sections did nothing but protect Paki interests by fooling the average Hindu.
2. Pakis can enforce ceasefire whenever they like it. It is huge wake up call for any nationalist. We will never deliver the decisive final blow if our own guys enforce Paki agenda at the cost of our future.
3. US can never be a trusted ally. They will ditch our relations at the drop of hat if we ever break outta the traditional blockers the west put in our way.
4. Chinese threat also over-hyped to stop us from putting any assertive policy against them.
5. Our private defence manufacturers are the game changers in these situations. We should encourage them.

The reports of US mediating ceasefire is wrong. US simply played the role of a messenger. Initially, US did want to mediate but was told by India, no third party mediation was acceptable to India. India told US, if Pakistan wants ceasefire they need to call India directly. Thus, Pakistan called India and requested ceasefire. India agreed. That is it.
Ok, if only Pork and We talked, then why did we foolishly agree straight away for a ceasefire, shouldn't we have delayed atleast another 2 days to finish off PAF ? Or atleast forced them to handover all HVTs including masood azhar and pahalgam attack handlers ? Doesn't make sense. Don't accept everything our babus put out, think.
If what babus said is true, then truly shame on them for agreeing to a ceasefire and yet again squandering a golden opportunity to implement the Final Solution

Guys , can you please confirm any mention of the following weapons in OP Sindoor
  • Smerch BMRL
  • Pinaka BMRL
  • MRSAM
  • Tunguska Air Defence
  • Strela Air defence
  • Osa-AKM Air defence
  • Upgraded Shilka air defence
I cant find reference to these systems used in the conflict.
Tunguska and Shilka would have been way cheaper to operate for quadcopters and slow drones.

Where he was asked about kirana hills ,that one .
He mentioned allmost all the systems you wrote here , including igla
As for smerch and pinaka , no confirmation anywhere

Agreed. We had a golden chance to get Kulbhushan, Dawood, Hafiz etc. extradited, and we squandered it
:facepalm4:

Not sure if it was us being pacifist, gentlemanly, or some other back-room dealing going on, but GOI has also not come forth with details of PAF ACs shot down. We did so in 2019 with the f16 remember?

Or maybe Asim Munir ke paas modi ka mms hai, isiliye sab chup hain!

When conflict started, both india and pakistan ensures the protection of their biggest assets.

India Assets:
  • Our People
  • Our Air Bases
  • Our Military Assets
  • Our Industrial Assets
Pakistan Assets:
  • Home Grown Terrorists like Dawood, Hafiz etc

Their biggest assets were sent to bunkers. The rest were left for turkey shoot. Including the Turkeys.
