I am not underestimating the chinese. The chinese plan was to pit against us pakis. Now, we have shown that its an asymmetrical equation and we can take them easily. So, chinese will now have to invest heavily in an invasion against india.
Pakistan can't be our Ukraine. So, Chinese will have to directly engage with us. Surely, They have a good network centric command centre. But our defences are also network centric and battle tested.
The Chinese never intended for Paxtan to be our Ukraine. It's very strange that members here are repeating hot takes from the SM without thinking this through .
Unlike Ukraine , Paxtan has NO strategic depth whatsoever. The vast majority of their population live along the Indus Valley which at its furthest is < 200 kms from the IB. It's for this reason Fauji Foundation has had this fixation on Afghanistan for strategic depth alongside Kashmir.
Believe it or not they were in talks for a confederation with Afghanistan once upon a time which obviously went nowhere .
The second point being none of the Indo Pak wars have exceeded a month or two except for the 1947-48 Kashmir war which once again is a function of the first point.
China arms Paxtan for the latter presents itself to the former as a thug for hire who needs no excuse to go confront India. All it requires is that cash keeps flowing in & arms be provided - both free of cost.
The Chinese oblige them to the best of their abilities & also demand their pound of flesh. The CPEC & the onerous terms at which the Chinese sold the J-10CE is proof of the matter.
The third point is that the financial conditions of Paxtan, it's deteriorating internal security & the political drama vis a vis Imran Khan being played out. They just don't have the stamina or the social cohesion or political unity for a prolonged campaign. What's more China knows that, the whole world knows that.
Hence the question of converting Paxtan into India's Ukraine doesn't arise not unless we want to annex the whole or most of Paxtan into our territory. We don't. Although there's talk of us taking back PoJ&K we'd do it at an opportune time not when Paxtan or China expects us to do so.
The assertion is Chinese also can't underestimate us now. They will need to commit more resources on our front. They will also be wary because Uncle Sam would be more than happy to supply us some good weapons just so that we can inflict some material damage to the chongs.
To begin with neither the US nor its allies are going to initiate anything in the Indo Pacific. The escalation matrix is controlled by China. They were are & will continue to be the aggressors. The same is true for us on the LAC.
The US has for long wanted to entangle us into an alliance with a view to turn us into Asia's Ukraine. You could see it all thru Biden's Presidency. That way they could ensure material degradation of China much like that of Russia thereby ensuring China's not in a position to even think about Taiwan for at least another 2-3 decades precisely the kind of time the US requires to cover lost ground to re arm itself.
We didn't take the bait much to the US's chagrin & utter frustration which they manifested in various ways like embarrassing us in Canada, the Pannun case & finally in BD by getting rid of SHW. This of course was in addition to the case of us importing Russian oil & refusing to break ties with them..
Any war chongs will wage against us will surely spiral deep. Ofcourse we will suffer more looses but chongs will have to say bye bye to global power number 1. They will be forever confined to that landmass and will not be able to break free from the island chains around them.
Yes that's true. But significant sections of the CCP are in a state of hubris about China's time to dominate the world having arrived. It stems from the very top - from Xi himself .
Just as there's no antidote for Paxtan's delusions, there's no antidote for Chinese delusions. We've had plenty of such examples in history before.

No one with right mind will underestimate the chinese firepower. I certainly am not. My assertion is simple now the chongs have to make a choice: Manage India or Get Taiwan. They can't have a short decisive victory against us anymore.
They'd go in for both beginning with India for the reasons I've outlined above.
