Just stop. Things are not the same anymore. HAL now engages a lot with private parties and has invested in more infrastructure. The delay is due to GE404 engines. IAF should be allowed to buy another squadron of Rafale if they are that worried about numbers. It is not the planes themselves but AI fused network capabilities, the accuracy of the weapons on the jets that make the difference. Dog fights are not going to happen that much anymore. What India needs to focus on is stealth bombers and develop a conventional bomb like Tsar Bomba. Have to buy things according to what will terrorize the adversary and not because some air marshal wants more toys. I would rather not buy Rafales and put that money into engine development or building powerful stealth materials.

India is making plans to help AFG to make dams on their rivers. This will restrict water going from AFG to Pak. AFG will use water for irrigation and electricity. India is already strangulating IWT water (making 5 Dams & Canals) and now AFG under the Taliban will do the same.

AFG also wants to teach Pakis a lesson using water. Pakis have treated Afgans as SLAVES and SPIT on them. They don't like a AFG to be an independent country.

India should not mind helping AFG militarily so they can defend themselves against Pakijabi TERRORISM.

People who consistently bring up Kangladesh on this thread or other with reference to the perceived increase in their military might and as a future threat... may have never seen the actual map of Kangladesh... this is map of Kangladesh... 100s of rivers and "most" of them don't have concrete bridges(necessary for heavy vehicular movement)... it means bangladeshi military has to follow a snakes & ladders pattern of movement to reach their frontiers.

To defeat Bangladesh we won't even need to target their military assets... just bomb 15-20 main bridges and all of the kanglu grand plans will come to a grinding halt.

another thing, both kangalu and paki fauj have very little mechanization/motorization rates, meaning they have to do preemptive mobilization.

After a year, concerns about the depleting squadron strength will subside as Tejas MK1A deliveries ramp up. Once the Tejas MK2 is rolled out, people will begin to question the necessity of importing additional Rafales.

India behaves strangely sometimes that the West is not used to seeing. For example, a gora friend of mine told me that he is confused why the IAF would just bomb the runway but not the PAF’s parked air assets. The expectation in the west is that if you are going to war, take out the more expensive assets of an already poor country. They do not understand this IAF doctrine of just showing capability and then retreating. That is a weird concept for them. Hence all the unbelievability around IAF’s dominance. Indian babus come from the Soviet Union model. Both are massively bad at PR and general communications. They say things that do not appeal to the rest of the world much. Right now the world is distracted by what Trump is doing. It was perfect for Indian armed forces to destroy several expensive porki assets yet we did not do so. No one understands this strategy of the government trying to overemphasize “being fair” and “not targeting Paki military assets”. When going to war, you precisely target enemy assets that too when we have been shouting that Porki government is behind all this. And then we do something like we wont take out the porki government’s assets. No one understand this. No one.

Capturing that neck will divide bangladesh large area and give india direct access to sea

basically logistics is huge part of any army's overall operation capability, even things like delivering blankets, winter equipment, warm food can have significant impact on how an army performs, Bad logistics was on the reason why Germany lost ww2, by mid-1942 there supply line was overextended so much that, for the rest of the war, Germany had to mostly fight defensively.

you can see in BLA videos where paki soldiers are being carried in open back trucks, which makes them super vulnerable to things like shrapnel and recently FPV drones. if an army lacks enough specialized vehicles for troop assistance their only option its to prepare ahead of time, this can have issues like their logistics and troops movement being exposed to the enemy.

Another thing is say an MLRS or artillery crew in engaged in a war , which means they need constant resupply of shell/rockets, if their logistics is good they can move these ammo quickly between firing , but if their logistics is bad two things may happen,
(1) they can't use their ammo more easily and have to constantly hold back.
(2) they have to store large amount of ammo in depots and dumps, which makes them easy targets or enemy.

The crazy part is IAF operational command almost repeat the swift retard blunder by not conducting SEAD operations before they struck those terror bases on 7th may , it was the AD boys that handle the situation when paki jets tried to bomb our positions around jammu and northern punjab.

Thankfully they came to their senses and conducted that drone attack next day, then fucked their air bases in the coming days, India needs to fundamentally change the way we conduct these, we need to understand that pak army = pak terror orgs, attacking a terror base is basically attacking an pak army position as far as doctrine of pak army is concerned, its us who try to play nice.

In the 1970s, Indian Air Force had demanded a strength of 65 squadrons, but today the requirement has been reduced to just 45. I’m not sure why—perhaps operational needs have changed, and so have the aircraft. during the 1971 war, the Indian Air Force was actually much larger than it is today.

When the aircrafts are being indigenously produced and the economy is strong, as is the case with India, this goal is easily achievable.

But Pak is a narrow country. They don't need much time to be at the frontline on an emergency basis. But if it's from say Quetta to Karachi or Lahore, then it's a problem.
