I have my own conspiracy theory. Now instead of blaming HAL on every opportunity, this Air Chief will now have to answer on the his force's errors. I think the Govt needed to put this particular Air Chief in his place. He had gone too far in public repeatedly against HAL, when Modi and this Govt is supporting indigenization against all odds.

What India did in Pakistan is evident through satellite images of Pakistani airbases available on the internet. These images confirm the events. However, a tactical mistake was made by the Indian civilian and military leadership on May 7th by not targeting Pakistan’s air defense systems.
in any future operations, Indian Air Force will carry out Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) as part of their strategy.

Whatever mistakes were made by the Indian military during this conflict must be acknowledged and rectified. Both the military and civilian leadership should be held accountable and must take concrete steps to correct these errors. Continuous improvement of the Indian military is their responsibility and duty.

Was nt it confirmed by IAF spokesperson statement that some jets went down . I don't remember particular line but he said something like -" asset loss happen in conflict , the point is we completed the mission and all our boys are back home" .

Read somewhere the pl15 was being guided by command center outside the operation theatre helped by awacs and chinese satellites . I ll post it if I find that exact article . That's why may be we destroyed their 3 command centers early along with the mobile command center and that awacs at bholari .

May be we ll know more if IAF come out with our losses and their's .. I don't think there is any need here to hide . It's just the loss of asset which happen in a conflict .And it matters less for a country having 100bl dollar budget . At the end of the day we completed the mission . They could nt stop us from bombing their terrorist head quarters in the middle of the city and their military base . Neither they could inflict any damage on ourside of military base .

The reply of cds was alright in my view (could have been framed in a much better way) because if we did lose some jets then we wouldnt be able to hide it since this isnt bakistan so its better to twist the question istead of lying now and being called out later.
Bakistan wants the world to keep counting jets because they need a chooran for win, and wants you to forget the scenes of the terror camps being blowned on 7th and then later the entierity of paki bases being bombed like its fucking afghanistan or gaza.
Jets being downed is nothing literally nothing in its comparison, maybe we did a few mistakes on 7th (ignored SEAD) but the blame for this would lie on political pressure and the babus. We learned from it and made literal gaza of a nuclear capable nation with decent quantity and quality of air force. Russia wasnt able to achieve this in ukraine even after much heavier losses. So dont get side tracked on this jet downed question and start abusing your own cds focus on the glory hole that our forces made out of bakistan.

That means we are ok to disclose the details of operation now. Based on this following comes out:
1. Jets were downed due to tactical mistake
2. IAF assessed and rectified it quickly
3. next set of operations from 8th onwards they were able to operate with complete impunity

I think its time now IAF comes out with official statement with the details.. will establish further credibility.

It's nothing to do with that Pakistan created propaganda around shooting down of our jets which our cds confirmed it now all the platforms like bloomberg who were without any credible info were running the propaganda of excellent performance of chinese weapons got full load of ammunition all thanks to cds and his office who couldn't vet media houses properly
