We have radar images, with identified PAF aircraft vectors (every aircraft type can be identified by radar with updated threat library from the characteristic radar return of the rotation of engine blades) , which went down and disappered from radar screen showing typical characterisics of aircraft crashing after being shot by SAM/AAM + some wreckage photos of Mirage III and JF17

Is this source reliable? I've never heard of it before. If it is, it's farcical that we did not let Tejas have his first kill. Like, I greatly appreciate the strikes deep in enemy territory and that too in broad daylight but come on! It would've been such a confidence boosting move for IAF in HAL/ADA products. This has been discussed before. Probably by me. It's a Martin Baker PK16LE (derivative of the MK.16E) ejection seat used in the JF-17 Thunder.

Then the IAF will probably look for satellite images. We know of the time the confrontation took place and given the range of the missiles deployed, it shouldn't be too hard to draw up a perimeter with that in mind to look for the wreckage + account for the potential glide distance if we have an idea of the altitude (in the event that the jet didn't immediately come crashing down). As you can imagine, it's not an easy thing to do at all and could take weeks to identify burning objects over the span of hundreds of square kilometers. I don't think the IAF will cite social media like the Pakis did.

For now, let's just put our feet up and relax. It is very obvious that Pakistani attrition rates are incredibly high. We should wait for India's press briefing that will inevitably come very soon with the exact facts and figures of who lost what. If the last few press briefings were any indication then the proof will be undeniable.

Also, the American involvement in this whole conflict seems to be way deeper than originally appreciated. No wonder JD Vance went from "not our problem" to "we spent a night on the phone" in 24 hours.
It's highly debatable how many American assets beyond just the F-16s were actually hit. I'm not sure how much of this will be made public, probably none of it but my appreciation: not only did Trump not negotiate a ceasefire but he forced Pakistan to pick up the direct line to India after May 10th strikes to stop further American losses. That also explains Trump's newfound detest for India, investments in Pakistan, and Modi not being invited to the G7 summit.

There is another theory, but it is mostly conjecture, that Pakistani nuke tech is heavily supplemented by American tech and personnel. It is unlikely that Indian strikes took any American lives because that would almost certainly invite a more direct intervention in the conflict from the US, especially with Trump in the Oval Office.
