Somehow I'm of the impression the principal reasons for this trip of Munira to Washington is not what we think it's all about i.e to seek aid , arms & reassurance of US help in case of a future war with India , which are no doubt some of the reasons .

Rather the principal reason is seeking guarantees the US will prevent India from destroying Paxtan N arsenal & more importantly the US will desist from doing so itself , including reining in Israel for with Iran N ecosystem gone , with Satanyahu around , he's going to target Paxtan.

Very interesting times we live in !

I think Trump not engaging with Modi since the US trip and meeting with Munir himself now, could be due to Trump holding a grudge when Modi didn't meet him during during his election run when Biden was at the helm. Could also be pressure tactics for getting the trade deal done.

Earlier this year, Pakistan I think engaged with him on personal family business level no matter however flimsy prospects they offer. Also hiring his former bodyguard as one of their lobbyist.

@Azaad Paki is looking for another GWoT like windfall. Yesterday we saw in post somewhere here that Kc 135 planes which were flying over paki airspace were being escorted by JF 17 .

Which indicates deal is being undercut. Pakis have thrown Iran under the bus.

you have to be realistic here. Nothing short of a full scale war can achieve this, provided the war itself doesn't go nuclear.

Pak will keep needling us, we have to accept it as a cost of doing business. Keep hitting them back & not get embroiled in a drawn out war. Economy is the most important war for India, becoming a 15-20 T USD economy is what we should focus on. The border problems will sort themseleves out.

pakjabi tongue does not speak defensive language, there is always a threat issued even when they are begging for something. i would think mulla munir would focus on the following in his messaging

- hegemonic eendia is doing zulm on pakiland by bombing and stopping water
- pakiland will not hesitate to use all means necessary to defend it's sovereignty and territorial integrity (nooclear blackmail)
- pakiland is a victim of terror, because of U.S war on terror in afpak
- U.S president can bring peace in sooth asia by bringing eendia to negotiating table on kashmir
- need continuous military aid to maintain peace in sooth asia

other secondary things are geoeconomics trade blah blah...

Those points for media walahs to be directed at plebs.
Not for the US generals/orangeman who knows pakis more than the pakis themselves.

Failed Marshal has been summoned to be issued orders with promises of cash and be kept off some "colour-coded list", in exchange.
