How many times do you need to be proven wrong now?
The trend of action and retaliation that's going on is being beautifully tuned and calibrated with complete control from the Indian side of the IB. India will escalate right up to the point where we can justify taking back PoK. As of now, Pakistan has escalated to the threshold of targeting military installations and (allegedly) places of religious significance with saturation drone attacks, followed by missiles. India has already demonstrated that we can take out Pakistani AD and do precision missile strikes deep inside Pakistan with impunity. Now, the logical step for India would be a large-scale SEAD/DEAD attack followed by precision strikes on their military installations.

Btw, notice we have no time or news about any kind of press briefing today yet. Yesterday, the briefing came after we took out the AD system in Lahore. So, I think we're waiting to send the appropriate reply and then let the world know about everything that transpired last night.
 
My two cents on things so far

We demonstrated our offensive capabilities by striking deep inside their cities and their air defences were pretty much useless. There can be no doubt now that if GoI green lights it, we can pretty much gaza-fy their cities at will.

Our defences have so far proven to be un-penetrable. This should be a huge confidence booster for the general public like you and I. Our families are safe under 99.99% situations, unless a massive barrage of ballistic missiles are fired which might overwhelm our ADs - but even then most will be intercepted, only some may sneak past.

Yesterday's misinformation was a calculated campaign the goal of which was not psy-ops. I strongly suspect it was to kill credibility of journalists, MSM, social media handles, etc. Now who is going to believe ANI / Shiv Aroor / Aditya Kaul types when they say F-16 / our plane shot down or pilots captured or whatever. Similarly, any psy-op campaign by the enemy will be brushed off in a similar vein.

This I guess is important in current scenario as government would like to control flow of information for whatever reasons. In 1971, the only way people were apprised of sit-rep was by radio and newspapers which were centrally controlled. At this stage, for me the only credible info would be what is released officially and everything else stays sus.

And we have the casus belli. I don't think even a government like Congress or AAP would be able to wiggle out of this situation without a strong hard response to porkies, let alone BJP. They will have to force either some sort of surrender, destroy some key very public targets (read: military/civil infra) or capture some land. Anything else will be seen as a soft backtracking.

And they may take time to mount a response, could be hours could be a couple of days. But we will respond.

not sure our folks have also shot down any PAF jets, as they remain tightlipped about it. thing is though, if they indeed have shot someone down, and the pilot is taken prisoner, then we are obligated under geneva conventions to notify Pak. this is supposed to happen ideally promptly, though i dont know if there is a set timeline, and hence i cant say if we're in violation of the protocols (not that Pak adhered to it either during Abhinandan either)




i hope to hell i am proven wrong about most of the things (except on Pak not able to shoot down any IAF jets). these are just speculations of an enthusiast, and aaj ka din is going very slow! :p

Actually they do have more credibility. Thats why they have circulation and subscription all around the world. We don't have a equivalent homegrown media house like BBC or WaPo or NYT. And if we are to build one, it won't happen by spreading such childish stories.

There is a difference between their level of propaganda and ours. Ours was so transparently incredulous last night that it was laughable.

wohi to. saare video/photos mein se bass m88 wala hi thoda credible lag raha tha (and maybe that missile launcher one), and that stuff too is not completely conclusive in itself.

2019 mein helicopter shoot-down ke time videos were out quickly, and this time too there were plenty of civilian videos from our side during the AD engagement at night (loved the NIT jalandhar one!!). then it is weird that there is no further civilian pic/vid of the purported Rafale, hence i say that i think they shot down jack shit

it's an assumption based on the context of no news of counter attack for last night's aggression.. downplaying of yesterday night's events by media this morning.. no talk of Karachi attack, pilot capturing etc.. indian officials appearing on foreign media.. all this points to we being prodded to de-escalate by other powers.. which is not too far fetched that they would be using investments etc as pressure tactic.. especially the OIC members and Europe which have soft corner for the enemy
